Cisco Addresses the New Cloud Edge by Combining Its SW-WAN and Security Solutions
In today’s digital-centric world, the way businesses communicate and operate has changed. Instead of just working in the four corners of the office, today’s global and dynamic employees rely strongly on the Internet to connect their business applications to enable them to work and communicate seamlessly with their colleagues and customers.
As businesses become more dynamic and customer expectations becoming more demanding, knowledge-centric organizations are learning to embrace the cloud and host their business-critical applications in multiple clouds - private, public, and SaaS. This has resulted in a new Cloud Edge, the intersection of security and networking.
To address the new realities of the Cloud Edge, Cisco, the worldwide technology leader, has recently combined its software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) and security solutions to help IT deliver better application experiences and make users more productive with unmatched scale and simplicity.
Built to solve today’s most pressing security and networking challenges, the newly enhanced Cisco SD-WAN is simple, secure, and scalable. Key benefits include simplifying cloud security deployments, fusing security with SD-WAN, enhancing the Office 365 application experience for users, creating unique new services for customers, and more.
