Intended to use this app for intercom system and we needed to use an app. Linphone was recommended for iOS by voip.ms support (https://wiki.voip.ms/article/Linphone_iOS) and it was a joke: unreliable and was required to be open to function. We soon ported our number to Buzzly which is better suited to our needs. Voip.ms claimed to not be able to refund our credit because too much time had passed. We opened our account in November 2020. What a joke.

100% do not recommend.

The nonsense starts the minute you sign up for service as they refuse to port
in a number until you put $15US into your account, even though number porting
is free. They are a Canadian company based out of Quebec so why exactly are
they billing in US dollars?

They lie and mislead you into signing up for their service with cheap prices,
then the BS begins.

First of all they are not an actual Voip company, they are a reseller of
Iristel Inc's service, something they do not mention anywhere on their
website or on their outdated, pathetic Wiki.

On their website they state ports take 5 business days, the industry standard
in Canada is 2 according to the CRTC and the country's other
telecommunications companies. Voip.ms didn't even send the FOC request to
the outgoing company until 3 and half days after I asked them to port the
number, then they tried to say the outgoing company was not replying. I
checked with the outgoing provider and they provided documentation showing
they processed the FOC request the same day it was received. I know this to
be truthful as they sent me a text message to confirm my request the same
day.

I contacted Voip.ms' "customer service" and was treated like an absolute
piece of garbage. They continued to claim they were waiting for the outgoing
provider to respond and when I sent them proof they were lying and asked them
to stop the port they demanded I pay them $50US.

They then all of sudden "received" the FOC 3 days after it was confirmed to
have been sent and when I told them I was going to have the outgoing provider
snap the number back, they competed the port in with a new date 7 days from
today, a full 10 business days after I made the request.

Voip.ms lies and then punishes people who call them out on their lies.

I open a complaint with the CCTS and with my credit card provider. They
pissed off the wrong person and I make sure as many people as possible are
aware of the shady business practices of Voip.ms and Iristel Inc.

Happy customer of voip.ms for many years and they offer very dependable service and constantly expand with new features and services. Highly recommended!

I've been with voip.ms for well over 10 years now. We dropped our POTS line
shortly after realizing how reliable the system was. Any issues we've
encountered tech support has been very quick and helpful!

Good provider with a lot of features. Redirect, voicemail, SMS, menu, they
have them all.
International pricing is good as well.

I've been using voip.ms for over 10 years. Good price, reliable service, features get added regularly. They have excellent customer support and have always been helpful whenever I had issues. They are my go to provider whenever someone I know has a need for voip service.

I've used voip.ms for several years. It's cheap and reliable. They have a good control panel with lots of options on how you want your numbers routed and can create extensions there or route everything to your own phone system.

- Outbound caller ID can be unreliable sometimes, showing up as a random foreign number to the person you are calling

I have been using Voip.ms for over atleast 10 years. Apart from being very consistent in service their tech support when needed has been prompt and courteous.

Feature rich with knowledgeable staff
For Canadian customers having to pay in USD. I wish they had pre configured hardware you could buy when equipment needs changing.

Generally an excellent service. A few glitches with the sites, but rectified immediately. I was hacked and VOIP stopped charges after a small inconvenience.

I have always received great customer service, I especially like using the chat functionality. Features are almost more than I need for my purposes and reliability is very good, at this point I set it and forget it. I will continue to be a VOIP.MS customer!
