Voip.ms - Very satisfied customer
I've been using Voip.ms for several years now and have been very happy with
everything. Porting my existing phone number was quick and inexpensive (now
free if I'm not mistaken). I was able to configure my own ATA using their
Wiki pages which lists a lot of different supported devices.
Early on, I had to contact customer service via chat for some technical
questions about my setup and their staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.
No complaint here!
Voice quality is generally comparable to what I was getting from my previous
phone provider (Videotron). I do have occasional issues here and there, but
they are minor (temporary echo on the line, for example). I think the
biggest issue I have had (and only a few times mind you) was no tone when
picking up the phone, but hanging up and trying again a few seconds later
solved it.
Voip.ms offers just about every option you can think of via the account
configuration pages on their web site. Blocking specific phone numbers,
setting up queues, waiting music, etc., it's all there! I'd be surprised to
find another provider with more options than Voip.ms.
I have saved hundreds of dollars since switching to Voip.ms, and will keep
saving for the foreseeable future!
