I have been a VOIP.ms customer for a couple years now. Initially I chose
them because they offered far more features and fine grained configuration
that others I looked at. Having the ability to configure every aspect of the
different features offered was a huge win. After I've been using them I have
also learned that their system has been extremely reliable. I have had zero
downtime with their service. It just works, and the price is *very*
competitive as well.

As an example of why the feature rich, and very configurable, VOIP.ms is
better, shortly after I signed up, I utilized their feature set to setup my
own personal robocall filter. It is a voice response setup that simply asks
a caller to press a number if they are human. Robocallers don't listen to
the voice responder and therefore don't press the number, and so my number of
robocalls that rang through to my phones dropped to zero. VOIP.ms also
offers the ability to provide custom routes based on whether a caller is in a
list of known phone numbers or not, so I also utilized that feature to setup
a bypass of the voice responder for those known callers I want to receive, so
those individuals don't have to go through the voice responder each time.

Without the feature rich system provided by VOIP.ms, I would not have been
able to setup a personal robocall filter with such ease.

I highly recommend them.

Pros Great price, huge number of very configurable features, superb reliability.

Cons I have no cons for VOIP.ms.

I have been using voip.ms for many years now. It was recommended by a friend
in the US and I've been using it ever since. It has many more features than I
will ever need for a home phone, but it's a very reliable, very inexpensive
and straightforward to use service.

Pros Reliable, easy to setup and use, inexpensive

Cons Webportal is a little on the cluttered side and geared for geeks

Overall great VOIP service. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend. Certainly cheaper
than having a hardwired land line.

Great SIP Product - this is connecting to a Grandstream PBX and I have had no
issues with connectivity or call service.
When I had questions, support was quick and directed me to all the knowledge
base articles I needed to set my equipment up.
I tried the fax service and it worked well.
Thank you!

Been with voip.ms for 2 years for residential service. 0 downtime. Porting
from old provider to voip.ms was done in time and without issue.

Bought a SPA112, plugged in my phone, configure it and voilà!

Love the ability to block known spammer/surveys/political parties.

The voicemail via email is also a nice addition. It's pretty useful.

Pros Low cost, reliable, plenty of features.

Cons Little harder to configure the SPA112. But it's the issue with any voip provider of this type.

I used to have a phone service from Shaw. I used to pay roughly $30/month. A
couple of years ago I decided to give VoIP a chance and I found VoIP.ms and
I’ve never looked back again. Those $30 I used to pay for a monthly bill
now gets me going for more than a year. The quality of the service keeps
getting better and better. I’ve been recommending VoIP.ms to pretty much
all of my friends and many of them have already switched over to VoIP.ms too.

Pros Everything. Quality, reliability, being able to take my home phone number wherever I go when travelling. Bye bye roaming fees, all I need is a free wifi and I can make call like if calling from home.

Cons I haven’t found anything yet

Been using for two years to port my old Canadian cell phone number to my
American cell number. Call and texting work well most of the time.

Pros Low price

Cons Need to use the Zoiper app for SMS texts

I have been using voip.ms service for over 10 years. The service provides
worldwide DID numbers that are easy to purchase and use. I find the following
to be the most useful about voip.ms:

-Easy to purchase and manage VOIP numbers.
-Most numbers now have SMS service
-The SIP protocol works well.
-Cost is reasonable.
-Call CDR is very good.

I do hope that they allowed purchases in local currencies as well instead of
just USD. Also, the SMS service cannot receive texts from certain providers
like Apple and Google. Improvement there would make their service much
better.

Pros Instant activation, reasonable prices, online only but great service, reasonable documentation on configuration of SIP devices and apps.

Cons SMS receive service works with most providers but larger providers like Apple and Google cannot send to their numbers.

I've been using VoIP.ms in combination with a LTE plan to serve as my primary
cell phone line. It has been consistent and reliable. Simply switching to a
different server solced the odd times there were issues. I really appreciate
their commitment to consistently roll out new features.

Pros - Features - Pricing

Cons - Primary connection server has gone down a few times in the past couple years. But was easily solved by switching to a different connection point

I have been using this service for several years. The pricing is great. I
don't need tech support much but when I did, they resolved my issues right
away. I would highly recommend their service.

Pros Price, tech support.

Cons Non that I have seen so far.
