This is a complete joke! It is quite obvious that around 3/4 of these posts are completely bogus, posted by shills for Vonics to tout the wonders of their service. Also, look at how many of the suspiciously similar posts have almost identical "helpful" ratings - it appears that they get their lackeys to go and positively review their fake positive reviews.
I find it insulting that a company would abuse a review system this blatantly. I was considering signing up for Vonics, but started to get a bit concerned when I realized how little substantive information could be found about them on these reviews. Then I eventually got completely outraged by their abuse of this thread. No way I'll order from a company that's so underhanded.

The service calls are handled by call centers in Pakistan and the moment they know they are talking to someone with an Indian origin, the tone changes and the person who was working with me, said that I could take my business elsewhere if I don't like the service. All this after only about 4 minutes into the call - Got my adapter after about a week of placing the order. But was charged for shipping / activation - i signed up for the annual payment plan which offers free shipping and activation and wanted to know why i was charged for shipping and activation. Even before i could explain the whole situation, the customer service rep asked me a pointed question - "Are you from India?" and to this I answered "yes", that when all hell broke loose. More than once he used the term "You Folks", and asked me if i knew how much it would cost to ship a package thats about a pound. Bottom line looks like they have a great service, but have racist customer service reps who hate Indians.

When service works is great voice quality...BUT BE CAREFULL FOR INTERNATIONAL CALLS...I have Passport unlimited Plan (paid for a full year)
Know June 30 and July 1 2007 when I dial a International Call (suppose to be unlimited to the country called) i get a message "YOU HAVE UNSUFICIENT FUNDS" ....WHATTTTT, I paid for a full year unlimited and I have not even used 1200 minutes and the system wont allow me to call outside the USA.I will call to cancel ASAP,Dont bother with Vonics They do 0 ADVERTING,
DONT sign up with them

I have friends that have Vonage and Sunrocket who will be changing over to Vonics Digital. By far, my service is far superior in every category. Price, $12.66 a month unlimited? Customer service is incredible, a rep answered 1st ring and answered all the questions and I signed up painlessly in 5 minutes. I had Sunrocket for less than 24 hrs, customer service was a joke and "our system is being updated" excuse was legendary. Vonics had my VOIP interface box to my house overnight, yes you read this correctly. I suggest any subscriber out there that is with any of the other 100 or so services to give Vonics Digital a try. I have no affiliation with Vonics and I simply found them on the internet searching for VOIP providers so.............give them a shot, you will be stunned by the service!!!
