I have been a customer for a year now. The digital phone adapter I got was defective - having a normal phone conversation impossible. It took tech support awhile to figure out that their digital adapter was the problem. They were very helpful I must say and offer to replace the equipment. I have to use my cell phone to complete my calls because my caller constantly experiencing problems hearing me. It was annoyingly coming in and out. It was very frustrating having to repeat yourself all the times. What could be a 5 minutes conversation ending up being a 30 minutes call because of constantly repeating yourself. This was right from the start. I thought the issue would go away but it did not. All this was mentioned in my notes with tech support that I have been having the issue for the whole year. I barely use the service. The new adapter seems to be okay so far. I asked tech support if there is anything they can do like a courtesy credit for their faulty service. He advised me to speak to customer service. The lady bluntly told me that the fact that I had service - faulty or not they will be no credit. She also said tech support is aware of the issue ( from their note on the system) let them give me a credit. Their definition of service is once the phone make a connection that service. It does not matter if their adapter is faulty and the quality is so bad that you have to you your cell phone instead. Two thumbs down ACN!
I recently purchase rebtel services to call India, on 5/12-28, it billed $10 every week they have some option to auto deduct money from your card once balance is less than $1 so it billed 4 times in a month before I noticed my credit card transaction, don’t rely on this services and never save your credit card on their site, and customer services will never understand customer issue, biggest irony is this company is it provides calling services to world but they don’t have customer service number where you can connect! Their customer service is so rude you cannot believe don’t buy this product and be very careful about transaction. They are doing unethical business
I used Rebtel for a few years and was satisfied with their service However, this year everything changed and no amount of email correspondences gave me any correctable satisfaction. I deposited $10.00 each for 2 lines. (Total :$20.00). I used those two lines to call the Philippines but only for less than 3 minutes and most times the numbers were busy. Later on I found that the first line's credits were used up. I was told that system problems caused Rebtel to charge for unconnected calls and that they would put back the credits. Never happened. Not only that, my total calls probably amounted to only 2-3 minutes. Each $10.00 was supposed to be worth 60 minutes. The second line still has $3.10 left. I checked and discovered that this second line was last used in 2017 and that was my remaining balance since 2017. So what happened to the $10.00 that I recently deposited? I wanted a live conversation with the company but was told that they would only correspond by email. Emailing was frustrating because their answer were always inadequate and did not answer the questions that I asked. Never again will I deal with this company.
