VoipVoip is a full-suite VoIP service providers, based around a cost-per-credit model.
VoipVoip offers five different types of VoIP service:
- PC to Phone
- Home Phone Service
- VoIP with Mobile Phone
- Business VoIP
- SIP Trunking
How VoipVoip's pricing works
VoipVoip offers a completely free, Skype-esque softphone model for all its users: all calls on VoipVoip's network are absolutely free.
If you want to make or take calls outside of VoipVoip's network, it will cost you, but not too much: $6.99 a month as a subscription to the service itself, plus a per-minute rate for the calls you make. With an international (non-US) number, the subscription fee is $15 a month, plus the cost of the calls.
However, VoipVoip's per-minute rates are 1.9c a minute for calls in the United States, in Europe, and to a list of 20 other countries. After that, you pay typically low VoIP rates in order to make these VoIP calls.
VoipVoip's Details
VoipVoip differentiates between residential and business VoIP services based on the volume of calls made per month. Unfortunately, VoipVoip doesn't say what that limit is; you may have to find that out the hard way.
Furthermore, residential VoipVoip customers can only make 2 concurrent calls at a time. Business customers can make 20 concurrent calls. It seems, from their pricing information, that the important thing for VoipVoip is just knowing that you're a business or residential customer; they don't actually charge you any more for using VoipVoip for business (puzzling, no?).
