I administer a medium size VOIP environment comprised of 1200+ Cisco phones, various gateways type and typical TDM circuits, naturally the idea of utilizing SIP trunking was always at the back of my mind however a lot of homework needed to be done to effectively introduce the new service into a well established business environment to provide the expected cost savings and maintain traditional voice quality. We did choose GlobalPhone after an extensive research and evaluating process of many of the available products in the market, six month or so after the implementation of the service and we can’t be any happier with the service. Excellent product.
I have been a GlobalPhone customer for about 6 months. Their service has worked easily and very well. During setup and configuration, they were easily accessible by phone and email for help and handled the configuration themselves based on our input. Their rates are competitive and easily understandable without hidden costs. They also coordinated transfering our phone numbers and any other issues we had. - Erik Pelton (Erik M. We signed a three year deal with Momentum in 2016, and then five years after that, our workforce location changed and we needed to get out. We'd already done the three years, but they forced termination fees on us after five years since they require us to give notice 90 days before the end of the term (not 89), and, as they see it, they determine the term. Totally would not hold up if we had the time and energy to battle them., But very shady. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THIS VENDOR. YOU WILL REGRET IT.
I am not a person who usually takes the time to write review, but I find it important to warn people about this company and its poor business practices. From the start Momentum was poor on implementing the voip system in our business. Even though it took several weeks to get the system fully online they charged us a month prior to the service working. Then when half of our phones were not working they did not respond to our calls for help. I chose to go with another carrier after 3 years of overpriced under performing service on phones that were not operational. And a company that showed little to no interest in making things right. I intended to change service after the end of the contract and quietly let it go. When I informed Momentum that I was cancelling, they had the audacity to tell me they had automatically renewed my contract, even though I had told them I would not be renewing the contract. They have informed me that I would be responsible for another year of over priced fees. Needles to say I will not pay these fees, and I will let people know of how poor this company is in its dealings with customers. I encourage you to find another company to do business with. This company should not be rewarded for its behavior.
