I administer a medium size VOIP environment comprised of 1200+ Cisco phones, various gateways type and typical TDM circuits, naturally the idea of utilizing SIP trunking was always at the back of my mind however a lot of homework needed to be done to effectively introduce the new service into a well established business environment to provide the expected cost savings and maintain traditional voice quality. We did choose GlobalPhone after an extensive research and evaluating process of many of the available products in the market, six month or so after the implementation of the service and we can’t be any happier with the service. Excellent product.
I have been a GlobalPhone customer for about 6 months. Their service has worked easily and very well. During setup and configuration, they were easily accessible by phone and email for help and handled the configuration themselves based on our input. We just use this service to test used IP phones so we couldn't tell you much about the reliability and features. But we sure do appreciate their customer support and low price.
I ordered Layer4 so that I would have a reliable business line. Before I received my Cisco IP phone they helped me set up my soft phone on my computer step by step, and if I got stuck on something I would call them and they gladly explained everything. Once I received my IP phone it was fully set up, all I had to do was plug it into my network and plug in the power and I had a phone. For anyone who needs a phone that comes with everything and a great support team behind it I would gladly and fully recommend Layer4. Also you never have to worry about contracts.
