I was a regular user of mywebcalls since last 4 years and having several accounts but since last few months they stopped their service & today I got email that they sold the company to gk.microtalk.co.uk when I login to my accounts I found all the credit from my accounts became nill. When I complain to them they replied " We can not transfer your previous balance." This is a real cheat to their customer & users.

It seems every body is so negative , while I’m happily surprised, by mywebcalls, I had a slide issue once that was resolved in couple of hours, and customer care is great.

The quality isn't the best I've heard but price is excellent and I've never had such a fast reply to an email when I had a problem.

The sound quality was quite poor. I was attracted by the rate, but when calling to India, you waste several minutes just trying to find out if the other person can hear you (usually they can't) If they ever get around to improving their sound quality (like iconnecthere), then no problem. As pointed out, the rates are REALLY good.

I signed up with them because they have good prices and allow to bring own SIP equipment. Today experienced first outage that lasted whole day - after 2 weeks of service. *Support has No phone number to call - whole day had no service and nobody replied to e-mail within 24 hours. *No web-tracking of trouble tickets. *Sound qulaity is poor - people cannot hear me for the first 3 seconds of the call, then report sound delay and packet loss. *I call form US to US, India, Russia My DSL to US measured 720/128 To Russia 144/128 and to Pakistan 711/128

18 cents a minute to Asia is TOO EXPENSIVE! That is the same rate that my cellphone provider charges and more than double what a prepaid card charges for the same call. The SMS to cell is a nice feature, but bumps the cost of the call up to 36 cents. These guys need to get more competetive in their pricing.
