Lingo is horrible, do not sign up please
I was with Lingo for over a year and when they could not charge my card they suspended my account. They then charged me for another month and claimed it was in the contract. While holding the customer service agent on the phone I went through the contract and it never said anything of the sort. Lingo lies and the customer service agents repeat the same things over and over to make you think it is 1-- it is not. After I proved the lady wrong she hung up the phone on me and to this day I have not got the charges removed from my account. To be honest I can not say its worth your time to argue with these people over $33, you will be on hold for hours and the people you talk to have no power to change anything. The best thing to do is never sign up, I would love to tell you justice will prevail but it probably will not. If people stop signing up and the people who are upset cancel we will drive them out of business. For ever person who writes there are probably 10 who feel the same way and will not write. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY A TRY. AT &T says every 11 seconds someone switches back to them will chances are they are from Lingo. Lingo alone has set back voip service years, what could have been great is now considered a place for cheats. Lingo is so horrible they will make you not want to try any internet phone service. The best thing to do is never start with Lingo and let them run off the few customers they have left because without a doubt they most surely will.
