We are a software engineering firm, founded on the concepts of computer telephony services in the early nineties. Having used a pbx server in house for 15 years and having tried out one of Jive's top competitors for 4 weeks, Jive is a fresh breath of air. We feel in good hands. Now we can get down to OUR business.

Pros Excellent service, must be all native, college educated employees. They listen and they understand. Then they help you understand their well engineered system.

Cons It sounds scary, and even impossible, but I have nothing to write here.

Everything about JIVE is excellent. This is truly a business decision where we felt the positive impact immediately. The pricing is AWESOME. The quality is great and they'll even help you set up the PBX service. They make everything easy. I shopped around for weeks agonizing over which company to use. But then I came across JIVE and they just made my decision very fast and easy. I love the fact that when I call customer service I get to speak with American people. They're great.

Pros Good price. Cut our phone bill in half compared to landlines. Great customer service.

Cons None.

Did lots of research on 7 or 8 competitors, read tons of VoIP recommendation blog entries, thoroughly looked into alternatives, like Vonage, and Jive ended up being cheaper for us, not to mention a much more fitting and thorough option. I so highly recommend Jive.

Pros Great and meticulous customer service (and all native English speakers:). High quality phones and service. New fax service works great 90% of the time. They were still working out some small kinks last couple months, but it's worked perfectly recently. Dial plan builder is SOO awesome, so legit!

Cons Virtual fax works well, but is still a little cumbersome to use for outbound. Inbound is great. Everything else with Jive is pure bliss. Great tool for any size business!

Whenever we've contacted Jive for any reason, we get extremely quick and courteous service from everyone - Account Rep, IT Techs, etc., whether it's to place an order, update our account, or anything else. We also love the fact that we don't feel like we're either speaking with a machine or someone in another country. We have been very happy with the phone service and sound quality, and the PBX Interface is extremely easy to use. Would highly recommend Jive to anyone.

Jive's PBX interface is amazing! It is very simple and intuitive to use. Jive has great customer service and support from friendly people who want to provide you with excellent service. They are a pleasure to deal with.
The sound quality was excellent and clear.

Jive's customer support goes far beyond expectations. I recently had a very complicated task that I was trying to achieve. I was immediately able to speak with someone and instead of just answering my questions I was told, "There is a much more efficient way to do what you want, if you would like I can reprogram your system and also test it from here on our end to make sure it works." Umm... Okay!! And then I received a follow-up email with the technicians direct number which closed with, "Please call directly, any time."

Pros Outstanding service, reliability and support

They have excellent voice quality, and their service is outstanding. Not to mention their customer service, is above all others. I had a small problem setting up my device to work on the jive network (not jives fault at all, I was the one making the mistake) their customer service stepped up and instantly helped me step by step fix the problem and they are ALWAYS there to help you. With English speaking agents. Their billing works with our grant funded program, you simply couldnt ask for anything more.

This is my first venture into a hosted VOIP solution, but I have to say that JIVE has convinced me there is no looking back!
Originally I remember being put off a little by JIVE’s name and slightly higher price. I contacted a close competitor first because their price was a touch lower and their name sounded more professional. After learning all I could about the competitor’s offering and getting a quote, I called JIVE and my concerns were immediately put to rest. Within minutes I was speaking to a live person (Candace) who helped answer all my questions and gave me a tour of their products and services. JIVE’s online PBX was much more simple and easy to use than their competition. When I told Candace that I wanted to go with JIVE, but was having trouble justifying the additional expense, she offered to price match for me… SOLD!
IASLC had reservations about the call quality of VOIP in general, but especially a hosted solution. I made sure that VOIP had plenty of available bandwidth and high priority on my end and everything has been crystal clear and completely reliable from day one! I was a little concerned when I learned that the best Internet connection I could get for my 15 users was two .5Mb up and 1.5Mb down DSL connections, but with a little fancy routing and traffic shaping footwork even that can fly.
Recently JIVE has been working on virtual-fax and e-fax services. After testing it out, I have to say JIVE’s new fax product is great! I was able to quickly and easily setup a dedicated number for a physical fax machine in addition to another external number which would convert faxes to PDF and route those documents to two different employees for payment processing (secure fax). Finally, each employee is also able to receive faxes to their direct dial numbers too. The fax is detected, intercepted, converted to PDF, and emailed to my users on the fly!
I can’t get over how responsive and helpful JIVE’s customer service has been! Each time I’ve had a question or concern, JIVE has been a short Internet chat or phone call away. Recently I was contacted by a manager (Eric) on a simple support issue and when I asked why a manager was dealing with that type of issue he said that JIVE is working on hiring some more personnel but until they could be brought up to speed everyone at JIVE is working long and hard to pick up the slack to keep response times to a minimum. What a great attitude!
JIVE’s low prices and great technology hooked me as soon as I got past their name. The outstanding customer service from individuals like Candace and Eric will keep me coming back for more! I haven’t had any second thoughts about my purchasing decision, and I highly recommend you give JIVE a call today!

Cons Little bit of a learning curve on the PBX interface, but much simpler (IMO) than their competition. JIVE offers free training both online and over the phone whenever you need it, so the only "con" I can think of is a little nit-picky.

Jive offers the best in customer service! Their support team is always most professional, courteous, patient and efficient! Their pricing is great and the features we get on our phones are usually only available on very expensive PBX systems, so we could not be happier! We have already recommended Jive to friends and businesses we know could benefit with their services.
