I administer a medium size VOIP environment comprised of 1200+ Cisco phones, various gateways type and typical TDM circuits, naturally the idea of utilizing SIP trunking was always at the back of my mind however a lot of homework needed to be done to effectively introduce the new service into a well established business environment to provide the expected cost savings and maintain traditional voice quality. We did choose GlobalPhone after an extensive research and evaluating process of many of the available products in the market, six month or so after the implementation of the service and we can’t be any happier with the service. Excellent product.
I have been a GlobalPhone customer for about 6 months. Their service has worked easily and very well. During setup and configuration, they were easily accessible by phone and email for help and handled the configuration themselves based on our input. I had no clue what a SIP trunk was until I talked to these guys. Bottom line is that I got what I needed which was a fast and easy way to have a phone system and long distance without the upfront cost and hassle of all the usual hardware. I also liked not having to deal with two phone companies ie: one for local phone lines/calls and another for long distance. OnePipe made it VERY easy with no set up fees and no long term commitment. I also like the mobile product they have… I can seamlessly transfer a call from my office phone to my cell phone (mid call) which is very nice.
I needed some numbers in Australia and found these guys online. Chatting with someone on their site, they set me up a demo account with a Sydney number right then and there. I kept the number plus ordered a few more later that week.
