Plans

There is one residential plan for $8.99/mo with 300 minutes. VortexVoIP includes a control panel with usage monitoring to track minutes and other management tools.

Features

VortexVoIP has the basic features standard to residential VoIP service. Features include:

  • Call forwarding
  • Caller ID
  • Do not disturb
  • Voicemail
  • eFax
  • e911

VortexVoIP's fax service from your phone number is outgoing only, using the control panel.

VoIP Hardware

ATA Devices

VortexVoIP offers ATA (analog telephone adapters) pre-configured for its network. All ATAs come with a $9.95 setup fee. ATA devices include:

  • Grandstream HT502 (with router)
  • Grandstream HT701
  • Linksys PAP2
  • Linksys PAP2 (with router)

IP Phones

On the other hand, VortexVoIP has a selection of IP phones if you want new handsets. All phones come with free activation but cost $9.95 for shipping/handling. IP phones VortexVoIP currently sells:

  • Cisco SPA303 ($130)
  • SoundPoint IP335 ($130)
  • Polycom IP450SIP ($230)
