Great Customer ServiceI just received my unit and had trouble getting it setup due to my complex network setup. But repeatedly, they called me back asking if i had resolved my issue after calling them the first time. They called me Saturday afternoon and EVEN sunday morning. That is called customer service which is 24 hours a day 7 days a week. So far the difference between VOIP and my normal phone is no difference at all. I do not mind at all paying for great quality service with spectacular customer service. The tech support also conferenced call with me to my DSL provider which was never a possibility with other service that i've had. They also come with many features that i enjoy. I looked at VONAGE, and packet8, but with all the great reviews of this place, felt like giving them a try.

Pros VOIP Quality, Customer Service A++++, Features, Ease of Use, Fast Setup

Cons Price is a bit higher than average, but worth it with all the features and support you get.

Bailed out of VOIP.COM-PHONEPOWER is so much better, thank GodI left voip.com for all the reasons posted on their reviews site-it just got to the point that I was worn down. But phonepower is the service I was always looking for: reliable service, friendly help, and good pricing

A Great ValueI've had Sunrocket and Vonage; both were excellent. However Sunrocket went out of business, and Vonage pricing is approaching what a land line costs. Overall, Phonepower is an outstanding value. You can actually talk to a real person for customer support without spending 20 minutes wading through a menu. Setup is easy for somebody with even a rudimentary knowledge of computers. The website, account management and voice mail are really well implemented. Having had experience with both Vonage and Sunrocket VOIP, I can honestly say this service is every bit the equal of my experience with those other companies. My deal was $9.95/month (after fees, about $12.00/month) for the first six months, and about $22.00/month thereafter. Sound quality is fine. Highly recommended!

Pros Easy intuitive website. Simple setup. Outstanding customer service. Fast delivery of equipment. Excellent pricing.

Cons I get echo sometimes, but it my have more to do with my ISP then Phonepower, is my guess.

New CustomerInstalled per instructions, so simple,worked great, was concerned about switching to another VOIP since my Caomcast service had static. PowerPHone system is much clearer sound than my Comcast VOIP! Must have a superior modem!

Working well for meRead a few reviews before deciding to switch over. Received my modem very quickly. The setup was very simple, and the quality of the calls are all excellent. Most of the time the customer support was very fast, but a few calls i made, especially to billing department, took some time. The reps were all very intelligent and honest. Phone Power has a referral program that i found out after signing up, giving both users 1 month free. However, i checked my account and the credit was there, but now gone again. i will contact them again to see what is going on. Besides that, i am pretty satisfied and the quality is good.

Pros Excellent call quality, nice features available, great price, great business ethics (so far)

Cons Nothing really. Website and features seem new, website occasionally lags. Still waiting for some features.

I switched from Voip.com to Phone Power. Voip.com was aweful. I have been with Phone Power for about a month and so far so good. I received my adapter within a few days and my number was ported in 8 days. I contacted customer service a couple of times to ask a question and they were very prompt in their reply. Sound quality is good. Everything works great so far. Price is good too. So far I strongly recommend them.

I did have a few problems getting set up but I was always able to get in touch with customer service right away. The first problems I had was because I had ported my number from my former voip, Packet8, and hadn't canceled. The reason I canceled Packet8 was because their website was impossible to use. I find Phone Power's website very easy to use. I'm very satisfied with Phone Power and recommend it.

I just got vonics a few weeks ago and pre-paid for a whole year...the sound quality is like a land line way better than Lingo, however on international calls i been having problems, like Echo sound, cut off calls,etc.
Called customer service ( it seems to be the same person always to try to help) but all they do is say that this feature or another is on or off .. AND THEY HAVE NOT SOLVED THE PROBLEM,.,lately I lose the dial tone a lot, I AM CONSIDERING CANCELING THE SERVICE , ANYBODY HAS ANY PROBLEMS WITH VONICS, please help

After reading some of these reviews, I can only conclude someone is spamming the reviews. Nina? Nobody real writes stuff like that!
That said, I am nevertheless pleased with the Vonics service after 5 days. My shipment arrived in about three days as promised. I will post again when we see how they handle transferring my numbers from Vonage. I do think Vonage's website is nicer but Vonics is a close second and has much of the same functionality.
The caller id on Vonics comes up as the city name and not your real name. On Vonage, the CID showed up as "Vonage Holdings" and not my real name either.
Logging into the adapter, it appears to have good functionality including port forwarding, DMZ, etc.
I am using it behind the vonage router right now, in the DMZ, and it works pretty well.
One odd thing I noticed is when you dial a busy number, it takes about 20 seconds to give a busy signal - weird.

I subscribed Vonics Digital World Fone Plan for Pakistan. I am so glad that my friend recommended me to switch to vonics. they have some great plan and they offer overseas phone numbers over here in uS you can transfer your incoming calls to virtually any land line or cell phone in US/CAN. you can never miss a call. they have a very courteous customer service however they seldom answer the phone. When they do they r quick in response. Its simply the best service if you are a foreigner living in US. you can have your own home country and city number so that people can call you from there to here in US.

The serivce itself works fine, sounds just like a corded phone. the problem is: VERY bad customer service.
The assigned me a phone number within my local area code, but long distance for my city. I called twice and was told changing the number would be no problem, someone would call me back within 3 hours. No return phone call. 2 emails to customer service have gone unanswered.
I can't recomend a company that doesn't respond to consumer questions.
