Though their customer service people were friendly to me, they never were able to get the service working right. I tested the service about a dozen times a day, and found I only received my incoming calls about 10% of the time. After about a week, I had to give up.
They allow you to choose a phone number from their "stock."
Service is unreliable.
All the same??
you would think that all the voice over providers are the same. thats wrong! believe me ive had 4 different guys in the past year and the reason im on to #5 is because the others didnt work for diddly. im trying out this mylowphone now and so far its pretty good. got the box in less than a week and hooked it right up. cheap as can be too, im paying 15 bucks a month for the unlimited plan. i will keep you posted.
I am the guy that looks at things very closely before buying into them. I searched the review sites and looked at many voip providers and the reviews on them all. wow, lots of problems with certain companies out there, I signed up with mylowphone and I have yet to have an issue with the service. I can also tell you that they have a US based call center, no miscommunications or runarounds on the phone with customer support.
best voip i've tried
this is by far the clearest call sound on voip. i haven't experienced any down time and the plans are super cheap. i got the hookup box in 4 days and it was easy to set up with pictures and everything. no complaints
price, clear call sound
no problems yet
I like mylow. cheapest voip i could find on the web. good looking site and clear phone.
hey I am really cautious about "new" companies or startups, but this place was pretty upfront. no hangups or delays in getting the equipment. the ata has the company's logo and stickers on it and it works just fine. as good as some unmentionable people out there
fast startup on service
I found these guys here on voipreview and it looks like they have lower fees than many other voip providers. I dont have any technical problems with the service at all.
clear calls, fast shipping of equipment
none to speak of
good call quality
I have had a My Low Phone for about 6 months. I think the call quality is great considering I have Cox cable internet (the Cox connection is slow for internet use)- I was expecting much worse. Most people think I'm using a land line. And, not being tech inclined, I was happy the set up instructions included pictures.
call quality, price, easy set up
Best so far
I jumped from Vonage (Was there for 2 years) to sunrocket, then to longo ugghghggggg no lingo. Now with mylow, best sounding so far and best prices i thnk out of any of them.
Waited to port #
I actually have been a mylowphone customer for almost 5 months and I like the service. havent had a problem so far. just have to reboot when my cable goes down. thank you
