www.atlantictelecom.ca - very impressive all round
Im a total newbie when it comes to using voip, but i did a lot of reading on the subject. After getting my last phone bill (yes i like to talk) i decided to take the plunge and signed up with atlantic telecom. The sign up process only took about 5 minutes in all and i got all my instructions by email soon after.
My box arrived after 3 days (i was told up to 7) and was very pleased with myself after figuring out what to do with the cables. - yes im a female and know nothing about computers and the like. Anyway to cut a long story short i have to say WOW. The call quality is very very good and i love the features i get including voicemail to email - very neat!
For $19.99 a month i get unlimited USA / Canada & Europe calls (my mothers in england) and i am just so impressed with the whole thing. I recently found out i can even use my laptop with a phone called x-phone or something like that - its pretty cool too.
I have never used anyone else for voip, but im glad i chose the company i did - top marks all around.
My account management features are really easy to use and i can log in at anytime to see anything i need to.
I kept my phone number for FREE too, no porting.
There was no small print or catches that i found with other providers - another big plus for me.
With this atlantic telecom, unlimited is unlimited, not limited like vonage
Very Inexpensive for the service & Quality of calls.Good support.Easy to use and set up.Very easy account managementGood and very generous referral programme.Unlimited means just that.Ability to keep my existing phone number!
Cant find any...i have really tried too. All in all I have used it for 4 months with no issues and i talk all the time!I only gave customer service 4 stars as once when i had to call them for a password, it took almost 3 minutes to get an agent (had to listen to the same boring message that they were busy dealing with other calls, i was in a queue etc etc...but i was given the option of pressing 1 to leave a call back number. No worse than Bell canada though.
