My BIGGEST complaint is the complete lack of user reference material. Zultys has a small 4 page "Quick Reference" guide that basically gets you making phone calls and not much more. Our previous phone system had an excellent user guide that detailed every feature of that phone system. The only training we got was what we found on YouTube! I will say the audio quality is excellent. Navigation is buried and confusing. Again, wouldn't it be nice to have a detailed user guide! Another negative is their handsets. While they are sleek and pretty, they are slim, hard to hold and fragile. I purchased phone pads to compensate for this as my guys were complaining they were impossible to hold with their cheek and shoulders while talking on the phone and working on the PC. I suppose a work around for this would be headsets for everybody. This system is also prone to just dropping calls. Our fax machine still drops calls before the system transfers to hold before the fax machine picks up. Nobody seems to know how to fix this either. Needless to say we miss our old system.
Our company specialized in smaller "key system" units until we were approached by two 100+ user clients to provide system, installation and support services. After researching available VOIP PBX vendors solutions, Zultys was an easy choice. After several years and multiple deployments, Zultys remains the right choice. Here's my story: I've used this service for 2 weeks now. It started off shaky. My VOIP did not work at first, so I contacted online help. After a little while they informed me that it looked like I was being sent onto an American system or something like that. They told me to wait for an e-mail saying that it had been fixed. So I waited, and nothing came. So I tried to use it the next day and it worked. But, the sound quality was horrible. Tinny, with an echo. I contacted customer service, and they recommended I not use a wireless connection. Well that wasn't the problem. So I submitted a ticket and got no recommendations from Voipgo technical support on how to improve the sound. Then I realized that the soft phone available for download on the Voipgo site was the X-Lite 3...there is an X-Lite 4 now. So I downloaded that and everything is great. So I contacted online help and told them what I did and they credited me 5 dollars for being helpful. Online help is available most of the time, the price is a very reasonable 17.95 a month for unlimited incoming/outoing calls, and if you're on both lines the third call coming in will ring busy. (Busy signal is cheesy sounding but not a big deal.) I needed a busy signal for my business which is why I chose Voipgo and I am glad I did.
I have been a voipgo customer for almost 2 years, and the service has worked very well. I only emailed customer service once last year, about a credit that hadn't been applied, and never heard back. Given the previous reviews, I was expecting my phone to suddenly stop working one day and it hasn't.. I emailed sales yesterday and heard back in 24 hours. They have the best selection of features, flexibility, number availability and price. My annual contract is coming up... should I stay ... or should I go ??
