Be aware: Cancel contract cost. the customer service is the worst he said that if I want to cancel the service. I have to pay over $200 because of the contract I didn't recognize, and when I want to see the contract that I've signed he avoided the question and said that he will requested it and then he just hung up on me and never call or contact back.
NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Beware, you will loose business as I did. We depend on communications through the phone. If you are a business, DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE OF GOING TO VONAGE BUSINESS. Go with other companies instead. For as big as this company is, it is Very Poorly managed.
Was a Champion customer (they used Level 3 as their backbone) and life was good -- excellent actually. Nexboom took over, no more faxing, no more distinctive ring feature, no more good customer service, people complain to me that when they are ringing me the tone is disruptive, I have plenty of dropped calls now, level 1 tech support is awful, then sit in the que for level two tech support. From what I can disect, Nexboom has Nuvio provide their VoIP service, who contracts out to various backbone providers depending on circumstance. In summary I've put up with it long enough and am switching to Packet 8 as they use Level 3, Inc. for their backbone (like Champion did.)
I had service for years with Champion, no problems. Since the Nexboom switch, service quality is horrible, no fax either, and when I canceled service, they continued to charge me for months and finally, when they stopped, charged me a $19.99 disconnect fee after years of service. Please think hard before using nexboom.
