We tried to use this system for about a year and it was an absolute nightmare. Dropped calls, phones crashing in the middle of a conference call, FXO sound quality was a complete joke, faxing never worked despite using supposedly supported interop scenarios and T.38 set up correctly, and numerous features that were supposedly included with our system were showing as blocked by the license. When we complained to PBXnSIP (now Snom) and tried to get tech support, they complained to us that we were a direct customer and that was not how they did business, we should instead contact the reseller for tech support. The reseller told us that their only channel of support with PBXnSIP was via the online support forums. It seems that PBXnSIP really went out of their way to try to avoid providing tech support. PBXnSIP was a total waste of time and money and caused a great deal of frustration. We switched to Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express a while ago and couldn't be happier, unlike PBXnSIP it works reliably as advertised, interop with other products is fantastic. Unlike the Snom phones, the sound quality is actually good too.
We had high hopes to save money with them but its been short of a nightmare. We have swithed to a new company and haven't had any problems like with pbxnsip.
We asked for a quote on a phone system for our 2 locations. We do a lot of calling with in the 2 offices and sales agents on the road because of the nature of our business and wanted a solution that was quick to deploy and would run for home, office and mobile workers. Broadconnect telecom provided us with a demo to test with all the features enabled. After testing other systems from other companies we decided to go with BroadConnect and it has been about 5 months and we couldnt be happier. Apart from a couple of downtime episodes, one of which was due to our ISP's problem, we are happy with the service and the solutions provided.
We are a midsize company with a small call center and were sold the BroadConnect hosted solution complete with reporting services. After making it through a very long 3 year contract with BroadConnect, I have have very little that is positive to say about this company. From day one we struggled with call quality and functionality. For a midsize company like ourselves the hosted system they provide is way too locked down to administer effectively and they never were able to provide all the functionality that was promised during the sale of the system. Their helpdesk is not very helpful as on many occasions my network admin knew more about networking than their technicians. At the end of the day while the price is great, the hassles and lack of accountability from this company is not worth the trouble.
