Summary: I was suspicious at the outrageously positive reviews, but I'm happy with the service. 2 months as a customer.
---------------------
Long version:
After reading the nearly 100% positive reviews here I was suspicious, so I called to see if it was legit. I was immediately on the phone with an English speaking support guy, no hold time.
So I signed up, got the router mailed to me for free about a week later, had a little difficulty setting it up (incoming calls were perfect, outgoing were nasty). Tried again the next day and everything worked beautifully.
The online account management interface definitely leaves a lot to be desired, but it does actually work. Customer support is excellent. Have called a few times in the middle of the day and never had to wait on hold, and always got a knowledgable person to take care of the problem immediately.

I would recommend anyone to use voipyourlife services. I spend less money with them than any other provider previous. I was thinking that it was too good to be 1. Maybe they would rip me off or something. I took a chance and I couldnt be more happier

I have had the service for almost 2 months now and am very pleased. Sound quality is great, feature set is nice & customer service is on point. Since I already have a wireless router with a strong firewall built in setup was not as indicated by the documentation provided. This may be an issue for some users but I work with networks so it was an easy setup for me (DMZ is your friend!). The pricing is very good and having Canadian local numbers to choose from pretty much made the decision for me.
The only down side is that while some other VOIP providers here in Canada offer local number portability, VOIP Your Life Does not. This will keep me from giving them a 100% as replacing my land line with a voip line while retaining my number is what I and many others I know are after.
Still I'm impressed enough with the service so far to give serious thought of getting rid of $$$ hungry Bell.

Very responsive customer service. Had NO problem installing the equipment. I would highly recommend them. I'd like to see a couple of minor improvements: 1)The auto wake-up only rings 2 twice and then stops..you should be able to set it; 2)it would be nice if voice mail e-mail notification allowed for two e-mail addresses....

I had services with 3 phone companies and decided to give VYLife a try just over a month ago. Never having tried VOIP I tiptoed into it with them, holding onto my AT&T and Bellsouth accounts until I felt comfortable to cancel, which I did just last week.
It felt great to let go of both AT&T and Bellsouth...almost felt like getting out of jail! I was paying $40 and $25/month respectively just for LOCAL service only (I had my long distance with another carrier).
VYLife is saving me an average of $50/month and I highly recommend them to anyone willing to "cut the cord" with the old mamas. I have to say their customer service is the best. I dealt with Gary, Greg, Dennis, and Betty.

had problems with the service from the beginning and was told different things by customer service and tech support about their fax capability. While talking with tech support to clarify which set of info is correct the guy says, "dude, you're taking up too much of my time." When i take him to task on that he says, "I was talking to someone else." I said well I'll be using a different service to talk to someone else.

I just wish the truth could be told about the price comparisions.
I pay 28.00 for my local service, but web sites like vonage say that comparable packages, like the 3 way, call waiting, unlimited long distance etc. cost 54.99. If your going to compete with other companies " JUST TELL THE TRUTH " You'll get more respect and maybe a loyal customer like me.

First of all I am not affiliated with this company in any way. If it was a bad VOIP service or company I would have no problem stating that. But in fact it's the best VOIP company I have tried. I see some people stating that it is not the cheapest. I am on the unlimited plan and my monthly bill is only $25.50 per month everything included that is my final monthly charges. Other services may be $1.50 less but the service is nowhere near as good VOIP yourlife. Also you receive two virtual numbers at no charge. They also have a nice feature called wakeup call. You go online and give a wakeup call time and at that particular time you put in the phone rings to wake you up. There is an automated voice that says "good morning this is your wakeup call". These features are all included in your price plan. Pretty amazing if you ask me. Also they have caller ID block. So if an anonymous call or a block call tries to come through the person placing the call gets a nice message" by the customer's request this party does not accept calls from anonymous or blocked callers". All I can say try this company and I am pretty sure you won't have any regrets. By the way I have had this company for almost 6 months now with not one problem. :-)

Good sound quality.
I've been using VOIP for over 3 years.
I've used Earthlink, Vonage, VoicePulse, NetVoce, Comcast, & Brite House.
What I like about my 7 months with VoIP Your Life is: NO Dropped Calls.
Customer Service is phenomenal, granted….
But what I really like is that I’ve had no dropped calls.
That may not mean much to some people,
But to me it means a lot.
Steve

I've been researching VOIP's now for about a year, watching and waiting. I made a few test calls using Vonage at Circuit City and wasn't impressed but in all fairness that was at Circuit City. One of my colleagues got Vonage so I waited to see how things went for her. She had the typical complaints, bad customer service, poor voice quality etc. It took about 3 months but she finally got it working correctly. Anyway, I went with VIOP your life based on the reviews from this site and so far, three weeks into this, I don't have any complaints. The voice quality is better then the Bellsouth land line that I have. I spent some time on the phone with tech support forwarding ports but I have an unusual set up and needed some tweaking. Customer Service has been very easy to reach and very pleasant to work with. I've had minimal wait time when I called. They all speak English! It’s taken 3 weeks to get my number ported, which happened today. So I am officially using this as my only line. One little odd thing is, not a complaint, related to having your voice mails emailed to you, they can only email it to one address. It only took me a second to find a work around. I set up a rule in Outlook and it automatically forwards those emails to my wife. That way we both get the VM’s. My 18yo loves the fact that when your on hold it plays music, using her words “that the coolest”. My experience is just beginning but so far it’s been a good one. I have no problem in recommending this service.
