I got this service about a week ago ... plugged it in and works fine. Had a short call with customer care and they seem quite helpful. Some voice quality problems occasionally when I'm on conference calls, otherwise it is quite good. Some small issues like you need to dial 1 and 10 digits for all calls. Will see how it goes in the next few weeks. I had used Vonage for month at a friends place and I feel their voice quality was better (could be because he had cable and I have dsl)

I switched from Voip.net (now Broadvox) due to their awful quality and difficulty in getting any help. VYL people answer immediately and the quality is superb.
I had 2 numbers, a Toronto 416 # and a FL 239 #. The 239 ported very quickly and the 416 # came through after a month or so. Glad I changed.
Only feature that is missing is the ability to receive incoming faxes as an email attachment.
I would recommend VYL to anyone looking for VoIP service.
Customer service agent Gary Holshouser was most pleasant to deal with and seemed personally interested in getting my porting completed.

I could not believe all the positive reviews on VYL found on this forum, but after having the service for a month it's all 1.
Order the service on January, received the equipment in 4 days, took less than 3 minutes to hook up, and was making calls in less than five.
Ported my old number and it took less than 3 weeks. Cannot say enough good things about Customer Service and Tech. Support.
Everytime I have called they have shown courtesy and great knowledge and are not in any hurry to end the call and move to the next, they make sure that all my questions/concers are addressed.
Definetly a happy customer and the price is right!

Have been a user for 3 months; some start up issues, but the super customer service has fixed all issues. Now acts just like the old wired phone!!!

Connection was actually easier than I made it out to be, and the Customer Service was SUPERB! No "menus" or "waiting", just call and BOOM someone answers to help you. Because I'm in a rural area, there is a VERY VERY occassional break, it's nearly not worth mentioning, I just want to be honest in my review. BUT, thanks to the excellent customer service, the service was GREATLY increased in quality due to their quick adjustments to my router settings. I would reccommend them to anyone, anyday. MAJOR KUDOS VOIPYOURLIFE!

My service was pretty bad while I stayed at a hotel in Atlanta,GA. I will check this morning If My service is working. Overall, I'm still pleased with the service.

When you go to the website specified using user/admin as username/password, there is a link there that says "admin login". Their tech sup says that we are not allowed access to that because they "own" the equipment, and that the basic access is all we're supposed to have.

Hooked it up, and it seemed to work fine. Did a few tests and sound was OK. Had to cancel because Tech support would not give me the password to login into the VOIP router to open ports. I connect remotely to a computer at home which requires an open incoming port. I probably could have put the VOIP router behind mine, but then there would be no guarantee that bandwidth would be allocated for my calls.
They seemed to rather lose a customer that to supply the password. Odd.

I chose VYL after reading all the negative reviews on Vonage and other providers and seeing all the positive reviews for VYL. They dont lie.
I received the equipment 2 days after placing the order. Setup was ridiculously easy. Just plug in and go.
So far after a month of regular use no problems, no dropped called, no echoing, just seamless phone calls.
Made 2 calls to customer service regarding features and both times someone picked up after 2-3 rings (no automated menu) and answered my question within seconds.
