Overall it was not too bad.
I signed up for this service because of the good reviews from voip review. I have a business with 8 phones. I was told that if i had a fast connection then i wouldn't have any problems. I invested $5000 in a new network when we moved offices and we have a 5MBps dedicated connection. It took a few weeks for our phone number to be ported. Customer service was friendly but never fixed problems even though we had many support tickets and they were escalated to top level support. The phones that they recommended were the GXP 2000's and they are of cheap quality. We often have echo's and occasionally get disconnected. We have to reset our phones frequently to avoid problems. The main complaint i have is the quality and reliability of calls. The quality of my cell phone calls is much better than my voip ones. I just tell people to call my cell to avoid being disconnected. Overall we saved money on the service but more than payed for it on our network and time lost. Use a reliable provider or standard service
Broadbox is NOT customer friendly. Recently I attempted to port away a few numbers from them. They like to play games with the porting process. They will deny your port for "invalid address". This happened more than 5 times when I had the correct address. Finally I opened a complaint with the FCC. A lot of times what a carrier will show for a Service Address is NOT the same as the billing address. In this case both the Service Address and Billing Address were they same. They hope you will get tired of fighting them and just give up. This is an on going case that has lasted for about two weeks and I am waiting to hear back from the FCC to the port completion with Broadbox. I will never buy DIDs or service from this company or anyone that resells their services again. They are the worst in my opinion.
I've been a customer for about 6 months now and no big problems. We used a hosted solution from them and I haven't had any issues or trouble with connectivity or call quality.
