I have my own I.T. consulting business and recommend vendors to my clients. I have worked with a number of VOIP providers and have been disappointed with most of them. OnSIP is not one of those. They have been great providing very good quality service. We have them in number of businesses and not one has ever complained about service. They have a number of pricing options but it is the unlimited options that are most common. In that space, OnSIP is a little on the lower side but not the cheapest out there. However they are a very good value when you consider features and reliability. I have compared them all. What I like most about OnSIP and what makes them my preferred provider is the support. It is just awesome. The other company we like is Jive communications who is not listed on this site but they are also very good. They are the only two companies that I put my companies reputation on.
Have had the magicJackPlus device for almost a year. After a few months I often had to disconnect the device from power adapter and router in order for it do respond when dialing out on the phone. Person on other end of a call complains of terrible echo. Got worse and worse. Now device does not respond to dialing on the phone and person on other end can't hear me. After waiting for 30 mins I finally could start a support chat with "Jerry". After a lot of back and forth he wanted me to do a speed test! We had already established that using the magicJack app on the computer worked fine. If you want to use magicJackPlus with a phone, don't get it! Finn
I've been a customer of this company for years. After I got recommended to buy a new device, I decided to put some money for a better product, I've received the device but had an issue to make it work. I call the number on the booklet provided but was told that I need to pay additional money to get help to troubleshoot the problem. The guy who called himself John refused to my request to speak to the manager. He was rude and unwilling to help. After minutes of useless talk I talked to someone who pretended to be his manager by name Brain with exactly the same voice and accent and same treatment. The call ended with no result. I feel very angry for the way this company treated me being their customers for many years. This absolutely unacceptable.
