I have had nothing but trouble from Comcast. When we first signed up my 84 year old mother was only charged $20 a month for her phone service which was great! I had to add internet for a few months to use a canary to see how she was getting around in her apartment. They signed us up for another contract without telling us and then when I took the internet off her phone bill was $60 a month! She is on a fixed income and cannot afford this phone bill. After calling and talking with several people no one would reduce her payment back to the original $20. I found a wireless router through straight talk and you can still use your home phone and it is only $15 a month. If you have any other sources to use please use someone else besides Comcast. They would not even import her phone number over and we had to change her phone number!!
Last night, 5/31/2018 my wife recorded the NBA Playoff 1st game of the series because I work third shift. When I got home this morning. The game was taken from my DVR Comcast/Xfinity list. DELETED!!!!!! I am so pissed because that is one reason that we purchased this option! This is not the first time. There has college and NFL football games. There has been college and NBA games and other programs. Comcast acts as they are GOD by with the simple thing as a click of a button they can make that decision and it's wrong. Just plain wrong!!! STOP IT!!!! Again, that's what we pay for. We don't want and shouldn't have to watch a rerun or replay! Whatever you choose to call it.
I had no clue what a SIP trunk was until I talked to these guys. Bottom line is that I got what I needed which was a fast and easy way to have a phone system and long distance without the upfront cost and hassle of all the usual hardware. I also liked not having to deal with two phone companies ie: one for local phone lines/calls and another for long distance. OnePipe made it VERY easy with no set up fees and no long term commitment. I also like the mobile product they haveā¦ I can seamlessly transfer a call from my office phone to my cell phone (mid call) which is very nice.
I needed some numbers in Australia and found these guys online. Chatting with someone on their site, they set me up a demo account with a Sydney number right then and there. I kept the number plus ordered a few more later that week.
