We've been using BroadVoice for the past 4 months at our accounting firm. Set up was pretty easy and we were able to add users as we've grown. The feature set does everything we need it to, so we have no complaints. The system has been reliable as well.
I installed voip.com SIP trunks for a client and the service well. Main location has a T1 and Asterisk phones. Branch offices have broadband and same Asterisk phones and all synced up well. I’d recommend then and plan to recommend to other clients.
Excellent customer service. We received services that was promised. Active since 05/10/2017 Port in our numbers was done with no pressure on our business activities. Voice mail boxes was setup same day as well as caller ID and all other features which were promised. They are very creative and very well aware and trained of functionality of their services and software which it makes them very different than large service providers. They are very active to solve any outstanding issues that may need attentions. Cut our bill to half and gained new features to better conduct our business. Great team of professionals to know and work with.
The person in charge of customer support (Kenneth) is profoundly rude to customers. Overall, UniVoIP does exactly what many other hosted VoIP providers do, except UniVoIP isn't exactly cheap, and their support is pretty terrible. They rarely, if ever, follow up on hardware issues or even basic glitches. Their answer, more often than not, is to "reset the phone" and basically move on - which is not an actual solution, just a small band-aid to a bigger problem.
