Prior to selecting Nextiva as our phone system provider, I setup test lines with a handful of hosted VOIP companies. As the CTO of a healthcare data solutions company, it was vital that I selected the best phone system for our offices. I spent an entire day for each phone system working on setting up and learning the systems. All in all, most companies shared similar features and prices.
Nextiva stood out from the rest when it came to call quality and helpfulness of the technical support agents. The latter is something I value, but at the end of the day the line quality was most important for me.
I can see that some aspects of these phone systems can be a bit challenging for a non-technical person. However once the phone system is setup and working, there's very little management required. The phones simply work, as phones should. To be frank, I've accessed the control panel interface no more than 3 times since February.
Having had experience with the Cisco 504G and Polycom 550 for our offices, I'd recommend the Polycom model phones. They've been robust and the handset call quality is slightly better with the Polycom phones. One caveat, the Polycom VOIP phones are pricey.
Without any sort of doubt or hesitation I'd recommend Nextiva. It was a great choice to select them as our phone system provider.
