| ViaTalk | ViaTalk unhappy customer review 06/13/2010 - 03:47 | Inexpensive. | The WORST customer service reps I have ever encountered. Stupid, obnoxious, unprofessional people who know how to copy-paste and virtually nothing else. If a company thinks having a rep chewing food and crackling wrappers is what should be on the front lines, well, God bless them. | Been using ViaTalk for two years now. If you must have a home phone, VoIP is the way to go. Just don't expect the same quality you had with your traditional land line, at least with this company. I had a lot of issues early on, mainly with calls dropping out(think cell phone service circa 1998). After that I had three or four days where my phone stopped ringing and people would go directly to voicemail. I've also had intermittent periods where call quality has suffered - echoes on the line, words repeating back 1-2 seconds after you speak, more calls dropping. If you can put up with that kind of stuff, fine. ViaTalk is cheap enough for me to just deal with it. I was with Sun Rocket before switching to ViaTalk and had similar issues. You get what you pay for and I don't care to pay any more than this for a home phone I don't use all that often. |
