We offer mobile landline coverage, so customers can have their landline number ring on their cell phone and cancel their previous landline service. Their cell phone becomes the home of both their landline number and their cell phone number.
We provide international cell phone service to members in all 50 states. We offer coverage on three of the four major networks, in addition to a large array of cell phones. We do the switch for our customers, so it's seamless to join us.
Trusting, and impressed on instant answers through email. Very helpful and most of all polite and patient. Finally got a landline for back up incase my cell phone blitzes out. I Iove that I can call anywhere in US. And the process is great for paying ahead.
The staff are very nice to work with. I have been happy with the service,
especially the cost.
It took me a long time to find somebody to help. However, your salespersons
were knowledgeable and did their best to satisfy my needs.

My experience with Community Phone has been wonderful! Rick, the CSR, was very personable and friendly, and very well trained. He was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. I signed my mother (in a nursing home) up right then and there. I received the landline base within 5 days and it took me less than 5 minutes to put it together. The instruction booklet was simple and easy to read. And then...MAGIC! I picked up the phone and there was a dial tone...HAPPINESS! I made the test call and my dear mother was in business. HOORAY!!
I received my first billing today and it was exactly as it was supposed to
be. My mother is 94 and could not possibly handle a cell phone. With
Community Phone, she is able to have a Landline phone that she is familiar
with. She has unlimited minutes at a set price and she is happy so I am
happy.
I KNOW that it connects to cell phone towers and I DO NOT care.

Very easy to set up community phone, and customer service was super helpful. One area of improvement is payment options - there is no eft available for seniors without credit cards so I had to put my own credit card on the account. Other than that it was seamless!

Editorial Review
The 21st century has no shortage of new technologies saturating the market. Even with all the innovation that’s occurred within the past few decades and fierce competition, Cyclix Networks emerged as a leading telecommunications firm that provides quality services to its customers. The company was founded in 2004 and is currently headquartered in New Hampshire, where its primary focus is quality VoIP communications to its user base. What will be covered here today is a review of the VoIP technology owned by the company as well as positives and negatives when it comes to its market presence.
Fantastic and Ultra Functional Company, Great Alternative To Others
Dr. Paul
We are a medical office who used Ring Central. After time we realized we needed to expand. After shopping around we found Cyclix and everything was great ever since we start our process. They helped us every single step of the way and were very dedicated. The system has been functional for some time. The best part was the transition, we did not even realized it happened! We are happy with their fax system. It was the main reason for us to switch due to lost faxes with Ring Central. The call clarity is great. The pricing is amazing. I cannot say enough about the staff, especially Emily, she has been helping our company an immense amount with us fine tuning the system the way we need it to function at an efficient pace.

Great Enterprise SIP Solution
Dean Lebron
This review comes from a global operation with over 1000 employees and over 60 locations in the USA and Canada. We used Cyclix redundant SIP Trunk product which simplified our VoIP Enterprise Solution. We've managed VoIP phone systems since the early 2000's when they were first being introduced. We slowly transitioned from PRI/T1 technology to SIP with Cyclix over the years with a near flawless transition. Voice quality never suffered. As always with any transition we did have some hurdles or incompatibilities but the Cyclix support engineering staff helped resolve and even provide guidance to our integrator. I would highly recommend Cyclix to any Small to Medium sized business looking for SIP Trunk Solutions or Hosted solutions.
Excellent Customer Service and Support. Great availability of phone numbers

Wonderful SMB solution
smjohnson
I've been involved in every step of the process of replacing a myriad of phone systems that we maintain between about 18 sites. We wanted a unified solution for all our locations regardless of state lines and network capabilities. Cyclix has taken care of that in spades. We're operating multiple voip lines on 1mbps pipes over VPN tunnels and the quality of the audio is still there! Our old phone bill has already gone down enough to cover 2/3rds of what we pay for our new service and there are still multiple lines to cut over from the old vendor that would more than cover the cost of monthly operations. Support is readily available and dedicated to making sure problems get solved while you're on the phone, not during a callback when it gets escalated to a higher level technician. All tiers of support are pleasant and knowledgeable at their level of proficiency. I'm not quite sure the feature set would be capable enough for an enterprise grade operation but you'd probably be running your own in house system at that point anyway. For an SMB company, everything you'd need is available and running out of the gate. The only issues I have at the moment are with phone quality and training. The Polycoms we've received seem to have a higher than normal failure rate but we've received replacement devices promptly and they come preconfigured. Your mileage may vary, but it might be worth considering using a Cisco phone system to get a more stable desk set. The training program was recently designed and could use some work. I think once they get the kinks worked out, there could be a lot of benefit there, but it's not quite up to snuff yet. It's also worth noting that we haven't had a single service outage during our time with them. Overall I'm very pleased with our service and would definitely chose them again for our phone system.

We tested their service for one month before making the switch and received
great call quality, customer support and competitive price. The plans based
on number of phone lines required instead of paying per user, did offer us
good saving every month. Michael was a great help from the start! Porting of
numbers, setting up online web account and landline and cordless phones was a
breeze. The company is honest and provides quality service with all features
as promised at no extra charge. Will definitely recommend them. Thank you

Cebod Telecom is an excellent choice for VoIP service, offered us a competitive monthly pricing, no setup fee and all substantial features. I am a small business owner and we were looking to upgrade our simple phone
system to a more feature rich VOIP system which would support our growing
business and without the hassle of maintaining anything ourselves and be
reliable as we have global business. we looked at a few options and for the
price and features we needed, Cebod Telecom was a great find. I would
recommend them for voip services. There concept of paying per phone line, not
per user helped us save money as we were able to get better service at a
better price. They are always available to answer questions or solve if any
issue arises. Also they were very helpful in explaining the various features
and how they would help us.
Cebod Telecom, offers a complete solution for our phone system, at a
competitive price. For less than the price that we were paying just for the
local phone service, they offered us with a full-hosted PBX plus phone
service. Cebod Telecom excellent phone service and support at every step and
we have found them to be very reliable in the short time we have been with
them. I have given them 4 stars for quality only because my experience with
them is limited to a few months.

GoTo Connect offers reliable and enterprise-grade communication technologies (including Hosted VoIP and Unified Communications) to a wide range of businesses and organizations. With a full suite of advanced telephony features and five different pricing tiers to choose from, GoTo Connect has become the VoIP provider of choice both by well-known brands and startups.
Plug and Play Installation
With GoTo Connect, installing a business phone system is easier than imagined. Pre-configured phones are shipped to your business and are ready to be plugged in for use. No hardware setup or complicated installation process is required. For businesses without a dedicated IT staff, this is a huge advantage as it saves them time, money, and effort.
Competitive Pricing
Compared to legacy phone systems and other competing hosted telephony services, GoTo Connect offers more affordable and no-nonsense rates. Their tiered pricing structure works well for SMBs as it lets them take advantage of advanced telephony features at a price point that makes sense.
After switching from $150K Shortel phone system, I had my doubts. I was waiting for a VOIP solution that I could trust and also had a ACD (automatic call distribution). Jive had what I was looking for. I have about 150 phones with multiple call queues. Although VOIP has its issues with dependency on the public Internet, Jive has done a very good job of having automatic backup recovery planning built in. We are very happy with their service and customer support. Everyone is always so helpful. My favorite part is that I am saving thousands of dollars a month in telco charges and maintenance charges from my legacy phone system.
Easy to use. Comes with all the bells and whistles. Others I looked at
wanted to nickle and dime me for things such as a phone app. Also includes
GotoMeeting Pro. This has come in handy during the pandemic. Much of my
staff was able to work from home with little affect to customers that we
service.
Typical VOIP related issues when you have bad internet or bad cell signal.
We had some employees that had issues but the problems were usually related
to their home Internets.

JIVE LIES to you!
Spousespy
S0, I fall for all the Jive hype and decide to switch my VOIP services from a good provider to them. It looked like I would save a few bucks and as a small business they all add up. Get my Jive "quote" and all is good, was going to save a bit. Let me say this first...the Jive support crew is good. They are patient and they get you fixed every time. I will miss them. Customer Service and Billing are a disgrace and ignore common sense. But I finally after months of using them actually looked at my monthly bill and saw it was 40% HIGHER than quoted. WHOOOOAAA. Looked and called them trying to figure it out. I did not add any numbers, features, etc. They clearly told me that I was paying per Phone Line (number).... Well, that was a lie, because when I added a voip phone that I could simply take and plug in elsewhere , etc. they considered that as adding a device, and said that is what I am paying for! I said that they (my same 3 numbers) are the same and it is on the internet so it makes no real difference...I still only have my 3 lines and that is what originally was explained to me. Obviously it doesn't because the phones can be moved to anywhere and plugged in. It is still only 3 numbers that are used.
Great Tech support, knowledgeable and patient.
Totally deceptive Sales people and Billing ...... Basically crooks taking
advantage. Any phone carriers that want my business, let me know.

I have been using Jive for about 15 months and encountered no problems. When I first started to set up the dial plans I had questions and called customer support. They answering my questions, got me up and running. I referred my son's business and he now uses Jive. My fixed monthly fee is unbelievably low. Other companies wanted per call monthly billing which would be too costly. How could anyone not like this company. I'm beyond pleased. Thanks
Pricing, customer support, reliable.
Which I found this company sooner.

Terrible - Do NOT Use Jive
ReneeGfeller
Don't use. 1.They told me that I would not have an auto-payment after our trial. This was addressed in the very beginning and the assured me. Even contacted them days before our trial was up to let them know we wouldn't be signing up.....Drafted anyways. 2. The APP is absolutely terrible. On numerous occasions, I would go to answer the phone and the person on the other line could not hear me. I would have to call them from my personal cell just to do business which defeated the purpose of the software. 3. Customer Service is not reliable. Only got generic responses. I've used Grasshopper in the past and it was MUCH better.

Our phone system improved a lot with Jive. It became more professional. Another thing that we love is that we can connect through our mobile phones. It just logs us out every now then. you need to sign in again and again.
Whenever I call the tech support team, they know their job that's why it's
much faster to resolve any issues that we have. Click to connect by jive is
cool.
When we ordered another phone, they were not able to provide the lead time as
to when the phone will arrive. Also, when adding a new phone, it's more
economical on our part if we can do it ourselves instead of hiring a
third-party IT consultant. Was hoping that installation is not that
complicated.

Top Notch Customer Service

We have been with Jive for 1.5 years and have been very happy. Set up was a breeze, the phones they suggested are easy to use and perfect for what we need. Anytime I have a question or need help with anything, I can always get a hold of someone and an answer quickly. Customer service always follows up as well to make sure everything is running smooth. The portal is very simple to use as well and it's easy to set up my messages for holidays, etc.
Their customer service can't be beat.
We occasionally get static on calls.

Jive is the Best VOIP Tool I Have Ever Seen
jbullard
I have been using Jive since November 2018 and I am thoroughly satisfied with this remarkable tool. I have no background in using VOIP (aside from having it set up for me once when deployed to Baghdad, Iraq). But since I became a business owner, I found the entire process easy to accomplish, and when I did require some assistance, Tech Support was immediately available to walk me through (and in some cases do the work for me) whatever issue I faced. The user interface is among the most intuitive I have ever experienced in any application, including other computer programs and phone apps. It has truly been a joy to use and has allowed me to quickly get up and running so that I could concentrate on other aspects of my business. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, this tool has NEVER failed to work, ever. I would eagerly recommend Jive to anyone considering a VOIP implementation!
Easy to use
Graphical User Interface extremely helpful
Quick, reliable tech support
Might be a tad pricey (but worth it)

JIVE VOIP review
KATIE LUDWIG
Biggest frustration is customer service. It takes so long to get in contact with support. Today I waited for 20 minutes to speak to someone and this is pretty good. I dread calling support because it takes 45-90 minutes to get the problem worked out and sometimes they have to call back. I will say if I call after business hours the wait is not very long at all, but we are not open past 4:00 p.m. so this is not very helpful. There have been a few people within JIVE that are very helpful and I wish I could talk to them every time, but they don't work this way as its a call queue. A great feature would be that you would be assigned a team so you get to know them and your team knows the customer resulting in quicker solutions and less waiting. The sound quality and features have all worked great once we got set up. Anymore if something ends up not working right it's always been that we need to do an update and for awhile it seemed like the updates were weekly. We also had some issues with billing that took quite a while to solve and close out an additional account under our name that was added by error.
Features and quality. The phones work.
Long wait times and don't always get your questioned answered.

Jive is a great value for the price! It was easy to implement and their customer service always comes through. Any time I have had an issue, it is always resolved in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a solid VoIP company.

UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE!!!!
kdrobinson
I can't believe the good fortune finding Jive for a project that required an outbound call center. Literally - we had less than 7 days before our client was to walk through the door. From beginning to end, Jive was there 24 hours a day! I can't begin to tell you how stressful this whole experience has been with this project, but Jive never skipped a beat. We got 7 phone lines installed in 1 day The phone quality is fantastic (Comcast Business). The options available are vast. They even have a Call Center Portal for those with phone queues. The versatility to switch from phone to cell on the fly is like magic! I can monitor phone calls from anywhere. We have an account with Ring Central and initially called them to get this done through them, but they were too expensive for our budget. When the dust settles, we plan to switch the company's main phone lines to Jive I LOVE JIVE! I have never written such a positive review for a company. They deserve the #1 slot for VOiP SERVICES!!!

VoIPStudio is a VoIP telephony platform created for organizations that need a professional hosted PBX system. Developed by London-based tech company Level 7 Systems, VoIPStudio is trusted by thousands of businesses in over 60 countries around the world.
Reliable VoIP Services at Competitive Rates
VoIPStudio delivers the reliability of traditional phone carriers, but at a fraction of the cost. Starting at only $4.99 per user per month, VoIPStudio offers all the features businesses need plus free setup, 24/7 technical support, and free inbound calls. Calls to landline and mobile phones are also charged per second (not rounded up to the nearest minutes), which means you’re only billed for what you use.
Packed with a Range of Business and Technical Features
Loaded with an impressive array of business and technical features, VoIPStudio is one of the preferred VoIP providers in the market today. On top of standard phone system features (such as Call Transfer, Interactive Voice Response, Call Waiting, Parking and Recording) their service also includes numerous value-added features that enhance the VoIP experience such as Internet Failover Protection, Reception Console, SMS Gateway, and CRM Integration.
As a new business our first mistake was our voip provider as the costs soon spiralled. We were told about VoIPstudio by a client and have never looked back. Changing providers has not only given us a much more reliable service but has also put a smile on our accountant's face which doesn't happen very often.

Business voice communication from Comcast saves time while avoiding capital expenditure.
Comcast Business has worked extremely well for our growing accounting firm. It's crucial that our phone system always works, as we need to be available to clients all day. Comcast Business does the job for us and we haven't had any outages or problems to speak of. Getting set up was easy as well. Overall, nothing but smooth sailing with Comcast so far.

Service has deteriorated dramatically in last 6 months
Deirdre
Since the beginning of 2018 Mitel has decided to outsource there customer service. Service has dramatically deteriorated. It used to be quite good. You cannot get a rapid response to serious issues that are impacting service. When you do get a response, the tech is incompetent. You can end up waiting for a week or more while the problem is supposedly being addressed, and then find out it was not resolved due to incompetence. We have been forced to cancel our contract as a result, as this is a business critical function.

This is in regard to some of the posts I have read here. We installed a Mitel Hosted service and have received excellent support and call quality. I have a bit of data background and really understand what it takes to make this hosted thing work which is...INFRASTRUCTURE. Not only the cat5/6 cable and terminations done properly but the Power over Ethernet switches need to be configured/managed by someone familiar with voice priority. Another big issue is that many Internet providers configure their cable modems with SIP ALG turned on which is a no no regarding the Mitel product. Mitel is not SIP and that feature causes a lot of issues. Another provider mistake is the fact they they quite often have the internal Firewall turned on in the cable modem...another feature that causes problems. Probably the biggest factor of all is the provider or person that sold you the service..if you ask me it should always be from a Mitel Dealer/Partner... that is someone that understands the product, how it works and how to make you happy. We deal with the Mitel Partner on any issue that arises and always receive great support. You have the option of calling Mitel directly but just like any other large organization you have to deal with "HOLD TIME" Anyone can purchase a hosted product on line but i highly discourage that. Utilize someone that really has a background in servicing that type of product (Mitel or any other) and is willing to commit the time and resources necessary to get you through this not so easy transition.
You can go through an experienced Mitel Dealer/Partner. You can also go
through an "Agent" but I would not recommend.
None to speak of...their service pretty much met our expectations and then

ShoreTel Sky is not even a good Beta product
FrustratedCustomer
Phones keep rebooting randomly during conversations. The app for Windows
keeps crashing machines. They give us fixes that don't fix anything, or say
that a fix is in testing (but it missed the last release cycle). These types
of things should not be happening in a stable product.
We are a simple business. No call center, just a receptionist up front that
takes general calls and direct-dial to our people (so their volume isn't too
high). Nothing fancy, no call queues. Voicemail transcription is OK, but
they don't tell you up front that it is limited to 30 minutes/month before
starting extra charges.
If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't do it with ShoreTel Cloud.
Price would be acceptable if system actually worked. Watch out though for
hidden "up" charges.
Seems like the product isn't even ready for Beta yet.

Cant' have different ring tones. Really!
Zeek4M
Newly installed ShoreTel System and we can't have ringtone differentiation
between an outside call and an internal call! Really. Our 10 year old Avaya
system could handle that.
Maybe too much focus on cool cloud stuff and not enough on the basics.
ShoreTel needs to get real and actually understand hoe their customers
operate.
Modern system - IP based.
Crappy features. Or lacking features that would be considered basic.

NIGHTMARE. DO NOT USE. 2.5 months and queue STILL not working -Shoretel
PAPM
I requested two Service Desk call queues, two agents each. That's it.....
2.5 months later, STILL not working...... They routed 180 customer voicemails to a voice mailbox different from those associated with our phone numbers. Didn't tell us about the mailboxes, no access, no notification. We're still cleaning up, and may have a legal impact with our client or lose the account..... They have repeatedly confirmed things are working as requested, and they have not. When instructed to activate the call queue, they told me it was activated, and when we called about ongoing issues, we found out it had NOT been activated at all...... Now the setup that I tested with them on the line last night is broken this morning. I know because our client got angry phone calls from their customers, and notified us.....
Unless you are willing to wait months, test everything they set up, test your setup daily, and lose voicemails, I would strongly advise against ShoreTel. I simply cannot believe that it takes 2.5 months to set up two lines with two agents.....We may never recover from their errors with this client account.
Absolutely none. For the love of all that's holy, find someone else.
Technically, there is rampant, utter incompetence that has impacted our client and our callers.

Good Cloud Solution - Mitel

Mitel's Hosted PBX solution has really delivered all the businesses needs. Having a team of employees and contractors who collaborate remotely and customers based throughout South America, this solution has really provided the flexibility that we need.
The system has many features, as much as a local PBX or more.
Depends on the local infrastructure to have a good perfomance.

Service is atrocious

We have been with Mitel for over 20 years. We had a server based system and the service was always great. We decided to switch to their cloud product so we could move away from the server system. The switch over took months and months with poor attention to the details, constant follow up calls and hours and hours of work on my part correcting the issues created by Mitel support. Follow up meetings were scheduled to work the punch list but the support people never called when they said they would. I had to constantly send emails to get their attention including the managers. When you call support, you will be on hold for a very long time. On one occasion, the phone system went down. I called support and the woman took the information and said she would pass it on to the technical department. She had no idea when the service would be repaired or who would be calling. She was dismissive in her attitude and truly could care less. The system still s needs some tweaking and I am again waiting for support. The final blow is that they started billing me for the system while it was being installed and debugged while I was being billed for the old system. Customer service for the bill was as unwilling to help as the support people. There are plenty of systems out there. I would look into other products.
The sound is comparable to other VOIP systems
The installation and service following was horrible. The system also keeps dropping calls. I was told it was a Comcast issue in the Northeast causing the issue.

This is the absolute worst phone system ever. We have had this system for 9 months and have NEVER had good service since day one it had dropped calls. The sound quality is horrible and it allows to much delay which creates a horrible talk over problem. Not a good system for businesses!!!!! I can't say it enough. Do not waste your money on this system.

ShoreTel is a great VoIP provider

ShoreTel has long been a provider of telecommunications services and the move to VoIP was a smart one. They have done a great job transitioning into the marketplace and have been a solid competitor to the existing vendors. We are pleased with our choice to use ShoreTel as our VoIP provider.
Excellent customer service. No automated menu features before you finally get to talk to a real person. Service is good and reliable.
We do get an echo sometimes that makes it sound like the conversation is happening in a cave. The occasional outages are frustrating but not always the fault of the provider.

If you're looking for top notch reliability and service...you found it.
I normally don't write reviews...with the exception of one or two Amazon complaints, but these guys went above and beyond my expectations!
My only complaint...the call quality is so clear...clients can actually hear my co-workers gossip!
Overall I would have to say one of the most reliable Voip services I have ever used. The sales rep was professional and courteous and the top notch customer service is one of the reasons I won't switch!

Although relatively new to the industry (founded in 2012), Alliance Phones takes a straightforward approach to their VoIP solutions, offering competitive and feature-rich plans that are more affordable than traditional phone solutions.
Easy, Simple, and Effortless Plans
Switching to Alliances Phones can’t only be described as easy, simple, and effortless. Their business phone plans are also named after these three words. Easy Plus plan is suitable for businesses with 1-3 users; Simplicity Plus plan is intended for businesses that require 4-20 lines; and Effortless Plus plans is for larger companies with 21-100+ users. Each plan comes with Unlimited Minutes, Rich PBX Features, No Initial Setup Fees, and Monthly Contracts.

Alliance Phones offers 24/7 customer support. Their friendly staff is based in the U.S. and can be reached through phone or email. For concerns about installation and configuration, Alliance Phones also has a detailed guide published on their website to assist users.
Alliance has the best support of any VOIP provider we have ever used
Culleton
We moved from a traditional (non-voip) provider to 8x8 many years ago. I became accustomed to lousy support. After all, it seems to be the way of the world in these times. One day I just couldn't take it anymore. Our phones weren't working correctly, I couldn't get support on the phone and I started looking for a new provider. I was scared stiff. I had online sales customer service and 8 retail locations and no idea what rang where. Alliance held my hand through the transfer, put up with my state of panic and got everything working perfectly in short order. Fast forward years later and Alliance is my VOIP provider for 4 businesses. They provide service and phone numbers in Texas, New York (they even got me a 212 number) and Costa Rica. Yes, they got me local phone numbers in Jaco Costa Rica for RentRica. I recently ported my cell phone number to Alliance. They walked me through setting up a SIP app on my phone, helped me get SMS working and followed up to make sure everything was as it should be. I can only compare the phone service to 8x8 and it is night and day. But I can compare the support to every company I am forced to deal with every day. Alliance has better phone support than 99% of the companies I do business with and that is a very long list. To me, support after the sale is as important as the service provided.
Alliance has the best support I have encountered in the VOIP business. They
are incredibly flexible. I have thrown some strange requests at Alliance.TJ
and the support staff jump through hoops to make it happen.
The only thing I have ever requested and didn't get was a white list for my
extension. My personal number is 20 years old and 80% of the calls I get are
spam. Often with the caller ID spoofed. I wish I could provide a list of
contacts who could get through and send everyone else to VM. As it is now I a
forced to send every single caller to VM to avoid all the spam calls to my
personal extension.

We had previously tried VOIP with a large carrier. We consistently experienced dropped calls and it impacted our business. We decided to try Alliance. We could not have been more impressed. Their platform is amazing and has allowed all our offices in different locations to connect and feel like one office. The call quality is outstanding. Most importantly, Alliance’s customer service is exceptional. We are able to reach the Alliance team immediately and deal with the same great staff. With Alliance, there is no unending wait times and speaking to random individuals at a call centre. Their staff are informed and always have creative and resourceful suggestions to our requests and questions. We could not be more pleased to have transferred to Alliance and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a VOIP service provider. Thank you Alliance!

I switched from Jive to Alliance Phones. They are truly the best VOIP Phone System that I've had. They stand out from the rest with their real value for money and polite and prompt service. The online portal makes managing the phone system much faster and easier. All our drivers have the mobile app installed on their smartphones. It just makes things so much easier and simpler.
The flexibility that we can use the service from our cell phones via mobile
app. We don't have to forward our calls - they just ring on the mobile app.

Exceptional Support, Great Service and Response - Time - Alliance Phones
Diliana Kotova
We recently had to move to a new office, as our company grew, and we've decided to use this opportunity to switch our VOIP Provider, with which we were not too happy anyways. I have to admit that when we saw Alliance Phones quote proposal, at first we did not take it very seriously, as the price seemed pretty low, considering all the features that they offer, on top of which, they have unlimited minutes for US and Canada. However, after we had a few conversations with Alliance Phones, we realized that they are very serious and dedicated to what they do. We even asked them for some references in our state and they were very quick to provide us with such. All the three companies that we called had very nice things to say about them. They were all impressed with their fantastic response and support. They even have an Emergency Support that runs 24/7 and most importantly, it is US based. We have been using Alliance Phones services for about 4 months now and I can honestly say that we had never had any disappointments. They are very kind, quick to act and always ready to go out of their way, in order to satisfy us. Their Web Interface is really easy to use but now I can think of few times, when we were not sure how to setup a certain feature (I think it was the Call Queues) and they did it for us straight away. The best thing about it is that it took them 5 minutes to do it. It's the type of service that we would sincerely recommend!
Great Support, Very Reasonable Prices, Exceptional Sound Clarity and plenty of Features that come with the service, without any extra additional costs.
No such thing at this stage.

With 14 months service I can say I'm pretty happy with Alliance Phones. I don't use most of the features offered, but I really like the voicemail-to-email and the cool thing is that my clients can hear my business voicemail even though the phone is forwarded to my cell phone.
Very knowledgeable people. Saved me a lot on my phone bill.
I had to upgrade my Internet speed, because the phones consume more Internet.

Before I decided to go with Alliance Phones I was looking into inhouse PBXs. However it seems like everybody nowadays talks about the cloud. I have 10 Phone units and I don’t care whether I’m on the cloud or off the cloud as long as the price I pay is reasonable. I don’t want to show off my equipment, I just want it to work. I had experience with “buy this equipment” and then you’re on your own, so the concept of the cloud technology “plug and play” sounded more appealing to me. Alliance Phones offered very competitive price and have a friendly staff. Whatever they promised, they delivered.

Five Star RingCentral

When we replaced our phone system for the office we did a lot of research; we talked to a lot of different companies to see what they’re using; we read every review that we could find; and we painfully went through all the various options to check out the applicability for our business. After the research we contacted each vendor to see how responsive they were, so when it was time to choose the decision was incredibly easy. I would like to say that was this was the greatest experience of my life, but I think that marrying my wife and the birth of my daughter would tie for first place in that competition... RingCentral is hands down the winner when it comes to an amazing phone system that can do system wide voice calls, sending and receiving faxes on your phone (yes some of our vendors still use a fax, lol) and group emails, customizable messages, hold music, automated transferring, push “a” button forwarding, automated attendant, video conferencing, work and project collaboration and 100’s of other functions that we are beginning to realize can literally make us even better than the amazing company we already are... With RingCentral you can come up with an idea and one of their level 2 techs will think outside the box and minutes later you have it set up; set up correctly; tested and working. If I could do it over again I would’ve switched to RingCentral 25 years ago and not wasted tens of thousands of dollars To keep antiquated phone services up and running and paying for after hours phone services with attendants who sound like they had a drink in one hand and a cigar in the other. We are a RingCentral fan club and the entire company is exploring the unique business tools that come with RingCentral...
The equipment, service and follow up are a major reason for our satisfaction
We didn’t switch to RingCentral a lot sooner

Awesome so far

It has only been two weeks but so far things are excellent. I like that when I receive a voicemail, it is transcribed and sent to my email address. Also, I am an attorney and do not like for everyone to have my cell phone number and be called at all hours of the day and night for free legal advice. RingCentral solves this by having my office telephone number show up when I call from the app. My only complaint was I purchased the least expensive phone they offered because I really don't need all the bells and whistles, and it was too light to stay in the stand when I touched it. Upgraded and am waiting for new one to arrive. I have called support several times and each time I could understand the person who helped me, and they insisted on staying on the phone with me until they had completely walked me through the issue I needed to know how to set up.
1) Transcribed voicemails sent to email. 2) Masked cell phone number for
outgoing calls. 3) Much less money than Cox.
Headache of setting up and learning a new system.

I've used RC for four years to serve a medical practice. Everything has gone just fine and according to expectations. I recently needed to replace an on-site PBX at a church (12 stations) and decided RC would be a good option. Six of the 12 stations had to be analog over existing TWP phone wiring - including an elevator phone. There was some problems getting the sales person to understand the application (the five analog stations were really just emergency phones in school classrooms, a kitchen, etc.) and that I didn't need full VoIP features for those stations. Anyway, looking online at the Cisco ATA devices for this application was important - as was asking to speak to an engineer who could answer detailed questions. For example, the RC firmware for the ATAs disables the second phone port - so one ATA per phone is needed. Ordering the equipment through RC simplified things (I did ask them if they could meet Internet pricing for the VVX 150 phones and the ATAs - they came very close). Cutover to the new system was smooth and everything is working as planned. Now, you can probably guess that I worked in this field and knew the right questions to ask, etc. All I'm going to say is that RC delivers a good product but you have to be sure you know your application and can work with (and perhaps through/around) the sales person to get your configurations defined. This is not your parents' telephone system. Price is fair - especially given its reliability and avoidance of on-premise equipment maintenance fees.
Good service. Good equipment. Good cutover support. Reliable. PLENTY of
features and flexibility to solve business needs.
Customer service will try to put your business application into a framework
they understand. You have to make sure it fits your real applications.

Buyer beware of Auto Renew

I contracted with #Ring Central for VoIp phone service for my small business in 2013. It went pretty well with #Ring Central for the first few years. I started have technical issues with the #Ring Central phone and had to use the customer service. #Ring Central customer service uses off US shore call centers. It is very difficult to understand the #Ring Central CSR's. Fast forward to 2019. I was fed-up with the #Ring Central customer service so I switched carriers. After porting my number to the new carrier I contacted #Ring Central customer service to cancel. The #Ring Central CSR informed me that I was in a contract and would have to pay $300 to leave. The #Ring Central CSR informed me that I was in an auto renew contract and I missed the grace period to cancel. I contacted a California attorney. I was told that as of July 2018 companies that are located in CA. can no longer auto renew contracts UNLESS they give the customer written notice of the contract renewal. California statuate Effective: July 1, 2018 West's Ann.Cal.Bus. & Prof.Code § 17602 § 17602. Automatic renewal or continuous service offers; prohibited activities; cancellation mechanism; notice of material change in terms; application of requirements (a) It shall be unlawful for any business that makes an automatic renewal offer or continuous service offer to a consumer in this state to do any of the following: (1) Fail to present the automatic renewal offer terms or continuous service offer terms in a clear and conspicuous manner before the subscription or purchasing agreement is fulfilled and in visual proximity, or in the case of an offer conveyed by voice, in temporal proximity, to the request for consent to the offer. If the offer also includes a free gift or trial, the offer shall include a clear and conspicuous explanation of the price that will be charged after the trial ends or the manner in which the subscription or purchasing agreement pricing will change upon conclusion of the trial. (2) Charge the consumer's credit or debit card, or the consumer's account with a third party, for an automatic renewal or continuous service without first obtaining the consumer's affirmative consent to the agreement containing the automatic renewal offer terms or continuous service offer terms, including the terms of an automatic renewal offer or continuous service offer that is made at a promotional or discounted price for a limited period of time. (3) Fail to provide an acknowledgment that includes the automatic renewal offer terms or continuous service offer terms, cancellation policy, and information regarding how to cancel in a manner that is capable of being retained by the consumer. If the automatic renewal offer or continuous service offer includes a free gift or trial, the business shall also disclose in the acknowledgment how to cancel, and allow the consumer to cancel, the automatic renewal or continuous service before the consumer pays for the goods or services. (b) A business that makes an automatic renewal offer or continuous service offer shall provide a toll-free telephone number, electronic mail address, a postal address if the seller directly bills the consumer, or it shall provide another cost-effective, timely, and easy-to-use mechanism for cancellation that shall be described in the acknowledgment specified in paragraph (3) of subdivision (a). (c) In addition to the requirements of subdivision (b), a consumer who accepts an automatic renewal or continuous service offer online shall be allowed to terminate the automatic renewal or continuous service exclusively online, which may include a termination email formatted and provided by the business that a consumer can send to the business without additional information. (d) In the case of a material change in the terms of the automatic renewal or continuous service that has been accepted by a consumer in this state, the business shall provide the consumer with a clear and conspicuous notice of the material change and provide information regarding how to cancel in a manner that is capable of being retained by the consumer. (e) The requirements of this article shall apply only prior to the completion of the initial order for the automatic renewal or continuous service, except as follows: (1) The requirement in paragraph (3) of subdivision (a) may be fulfilled after completion of the initial order. (2) The requirement in subdivision (d) shall be fulfilled prior to implementation of the material change. (f) This section shall become operative on July 1, 2018. After sending the opinion letter and the above statute to #Ring Central customer service, I was informed that they would "waive" the ETF and close my account. I WON!!!!!

AWFUL Service and Inconsistent Technology
Yellow Music Company
I signed up with Ring Central under a year ago. In that time span, I've had four major outages with phone service and calling for technical support has been awful! They use language lay people can't understand, are terrible with follow-up and then continue to try and "fix" the problem after the issue is resolved. An average phone call to tech support takes me 1-2 hours and I am often incredibly frustrated by their lack of ability to clarify or explain the questions they ask. Most recently, they lost my case file and didn't record any notes and I've had to start over from scratch. I have to assign stars so I've given them one because at least they have an app I can put on my cell phone to use when I'm out of office. If you're a small business, sole proprietorship, or non-profit organization without any technical support, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are impossible to work with!
They have an app for my cell phone so I can receive calls and text messages
outside the office.
Terrible technical support, inconsistent service, bad call quality -
definitely not a company to go with if you are a single person operation
without a technical department

We bought service from Ring Central and thought it would save money by merging the phones and webinar. It did connect both but the lines turned into horrible. The voice quality was not clear. When I complained about the issue they just ignored. My phone number was added into their voicemail list. Looking for some other company as RingCentral completely disappointed me.

BEWARE! They have non existent customer service. The account managers have no clue how to help. They repeatedly apologize but can never seem to solve a problem. I was billed for a number I did not have or use. To this day I have not been able to have the number canceled or receive a credit for the payments they deducted from my credit card. They advertise HD Voice. I believe that's just the product name they use. I have experienced terrible voice quality. Many times incoming calls are interrupted and you have to wait for the call to reconnect. I usually end up calling from another line. They are way overpriced for the product and service they deliver. Look for other options. I can't wait to move my numbers elsewhere.
More features than most people need or use.
Bad customer service. Low voice quality. Overpriced.

We've been using BroadVoice for the past 4 months at our accounting firm. Set
up was pretty easy and we were able to add users as we've grown. The feature
set does everything we need it to, so we have no complaints. The system has
been reliable as well.

Voip.com Installation and overall service good
ITservicetogo
I installed voip.com SIP trunks for a client and the service well. Main location has a T1 and Asterisk phones. Branch offices have broadband and same Asterisk phones and all synced up well. I’d recommend then and plan to recommend to other clients.
SIP trunks sevice proved very reliable
I had not heard of them previously

VoIP.com is Integral to our sales team

I manage a sales floor of almost 20 people who handle both inbound and outbound sales. Voip.com has been a boon to our business, since we used to have constant phone problems with our previous provider. These phone problems have vanished with our new Voip.com hosted PBX system, and the headaches of missing out on closing sales have vanished. If you're looking for a low cost phone system that just works, you can't go wrong with Voip.com
Works all the time, low-cost

We're a medium sized business consulting firm (~60 employees) and we have had no issues with Voip.com thus far. Set up was easy, and the features our call center sales team and marketing department get with the system are far better than what we had before. As the guy who runs IT for the company, it's made my job a lot easier than messing with the in-house PBX we had previously.
We get great uptime and have had no issues with call quality either. I'd definitely recommend Voip.com.

Cisco Phones work well, pricing good
AT
Compared with AT&T, the local Internet provider, and pricing was better. Works well with Cisco phones although i assume it should or will work well with any quality compatible VOIP phone. voip.com Customer service is helpful and in the USA so you can get through questions quickly without having to verify and re verify your acct number.
Cisco phones work well, talk with someone in USA and good pricing

BroadVoice Has Been Awesome

So here is my review:
About a year and a half ago our household still used traditional landline telephone service, and since we didn't seem to be using the house phone very often (everyone in our family has a cell phone), my husband suggested getting rid of the house line all together in order to save money. Maybe I am "old school", but I don't like the idea of not having a landline phone in my house, even if we all do have cell phones. So I made a compromise that I would research broadband phone service and get a plan for us that would allow us to keep our home phone service for a good price. I found this site, and ended up going with Broadvoice. I am glad I did because there is no difference in the call quality or reliability compared to our old traditional phone service, and the cost savings are big for us. If you're like me and want a solid home phone line without having to spend a whole lot, then check out Broadvoice.
great call quality, quick customer service

New Customer and could not be happier!

After years of frustration with my old phone line, I recently switched to BroadVoice, and I have been very impressed with the quality of the phone calls and the phone bills I have been receiving. I have realized that switching to BroadVoice was a great decision for me during these tough economic times because it saves me a significant amount of money per month. I would recommend it to anyone because not only is the service great, it is also considerably cheaper than other phone options. I currently use it for my home phone and business phone, as I run my business out of my home. it has many features that I did not even know I could get with the standard plan. makes me wonder why I did not switch over sooner!
Great customer service, cheaper than the phone I had previously.
So far, the service has been good enough to not have any complaints.

We finally switched over to Broadvoice for our home phone system and couldn't be happier. We had initially made the switch over from regular telephone service to VoIP about a year ago, but we made the mistake of going with Vonage. With Vonage we struggled with reliability and customer service. Since switching to Broadvoice three months ago, we have been very satisfied with the quality of phone service. We have not experienced any outages up to this point, and when we had a question about a feature, Broadvoice's customer service agent was quick to get it addressed. Definitely recommend them.

My god, why didn’t I find Broadvoice a long time ago. I could cry about giving my local phone company all of that money for NOTHING. I signed up on line and got going almost immediately. The quality has been good and he service so far has been seamless. I would recommend to anyone looking for a home or home office phone service.

We used Broadvoice for 4 months. In those 4 months, the service went down MULTIPLE times
frankESP
We used Broadvoice for 4 months. In those 4 months, the service went down MULTIPLE times, lost our connection, it would come back periodically. When this would happen, I would attempt to contact Customer Service and was waiting on hold for 30 min + sometimes, by the time they would answer the service would be back up again and wouldn't get anywhere with support. Sometime I'd just give up after being on hold for so long. After talking with support they only had a few suggestions and wouldn't help out any further. Terrible company, terrible organization. I would never recommend anyone to use them for serivces, it doesn't work! look at the other reviews, their employees have no clue!
Cheap, easy setup
Customer Service, Connection Reliability, Company as a whole
