Firstly, I like the convenience of eFAX.  I do not have a fax machine, but only a scanner and a computer.  I can send fax's from my computer however I would get charged the exorbitant international rates from the phone company here in Taiwan and I wish to avoid that at all costs.  In fact, even with the subscription fee, I saved money because I had about 20 pages to fax to 3 different places in the US; my school, a financial institution, and a law firm.  Each one required my signature and one out of three would not send a fax internationally to me and I didn't want to pay the international costs of the other documents that would come to me. Secondly, eFAX was a service that solved a delicate problem for me because they have the option of having a local domestic USA Fax number to where the fax's could be directed to me.  This really saved me as I had a deadline to meet to get these documents and my university would under no circumstances send a fax to me internationally. Thirdly, I like the cost involved.  This is not an expensive service for the service rendered!  If you do a lot of faxing and do not have a fax mcahine, eFAX is definitely the way to go.  So, all in all, I have been really pleased with eFAX.  It has been a very convenient service that turns your email into a fax machine. It is inexpensive and so far, it has been efficient as I have received and sent all of the fax's that I had to (all 20 pages) without any problems.  I recommend eFAX to anyone who does not have  a fax machine and has a limited number of fax's to send  Give it a try.  I think you will be pleased as I have been. I am the owner, founder, and "master bit herder" for icci, LLC. After 25 years of supporting other providers PBX and VoIP installs for my customers, I decided to enter into the marketplace. We tried several VoIP providers while developing our product. When we came across Telnyx, we knew that if the product worked as advertised, we were all in and had found our preferred provider. Key features we were after from day one: • SRTP/TLS connectivity • Debug terminal with verbosity set high for SIP sessions • T.38 Passthrough • Low latency to AWS Ohio Zone (11-20ms avg) • Flexible trunk price model (dedicated trunks not required) We were surprised by: • Rate Desk Tariff Pricing • Regular API feature updates and new features • AWS VPC availability At one point 18 months ago, we had a doctor's office that was unable to dial specific numbers owned by Sprint... Telnyx support owned the problem from the get-go, which I was very impressed with. It did take several weeks to get the issue worked out, however, we have had no further issues like this. Telnyx works perfectly with Sangoma's PBXact & FreePBX. Supporting TLS/SRTP really helps get an "A" on our HIPAA evaluations!
