Firstly, I like the convenience of eFAX.  I do not have a fax machine, but only a scanner and a computer.  I can send fax's from my computer however I would get charged the exorbitant international rates from the phone company here in Taiwan and I wish to avoid that at all costs.  In fact, even with the subscription fee, I saved money because I had about 20 pages to fax to 3 different places in the US; my school, a financial institution, and a law firm.  Each one required my signature and one out of three would not send a fax internationally to me and I didn't want to pay the international costs of the other documents that would come to me. Secondly, eFAX was a service that solved a delicate problem for me because they have the option of having a local domestic USA Fax number to where the fax's could be directed to me.  This really saved me as I had a deadline to meet to get these documents and my university would under no circumstances send a fax to me internationally. Thirdly, I like the cost involved.  This is not an expensive service for the service rendered!  If you do a lot of faxing and do not have a fax mcahine, eFAX is definitely the way to go.  So, all in all, I have been really pleased with eFAX.  It has been a very convenient service that turns your email into a fax machine. It is inexpensive and so far, it has been efficient as I have received and sent all of the fax's that I had to (all 20 pages) without any problems.  I recommend eFAX to anyone who does not have  a fax machine and has a limited number of fax's to send  Give it a try.  I think you will be pleased as I have been. We asked for a quote on a phone system for our 2 locations. We do a lot of calling with in the 2 offices and sales agents on the road because of the nature of our business and wanted a solution that was quick to deploy and would run for home, office and mobile workers. Broadconnect telecom provided us with a demo to test with all the features enabled. After testing other systems from other companies we decided to go with BroadConnect and it has been about 5 months and we couldnt be happier. Apart from a couple of downtime episodes, one of which was due to our ISP's problem, we are happy with the service and the solutions provided.

We are a midsize company with a small call center and were sold the BroadConnect hosted solution complete with reporting services. After making it through a very long 3 year contract with BroadConnect, I have have very little that is positive to say about this company. From day one we struggled with call quality and functionality. For a midsize company like ourselves the hosted system they provide is way too locked down to administer effectively and they never were able to provide all the functionality that was promised during the sale of the system. Their helpdesk is not very helpful as on many occasions my network admin knew more about networking than their technicians. At the end of the day while the price is great, the hassles and lack of accountability from this company is not worth the trouble.
