The balance of the $10 is stuck in Voicestick coffers in case you need to make an international call or god forbid another 911 call. They won’t take it off your next bill. Customer support is minimal with only business hours (8-5) access, poorly trained people and a desire to close tickets that greatly exceeds their willingness to help customers. User features are minimal at best despite continuing promises to add features. There isn’t any “call busy” or “no answer” rollover which makes their “business service” useless for most organizations needing multiple incoming lines. If you are looking for fast track features, Voicestick is a Yugo when most people are looking for a Cadillac. Many services give tours of their online interface for prospective customers; Voicestick has to be too embarrassed to offer a tour… Call quality is fair on their best day, unusable on some days. Finally, there are the outages including the THREE day one caused by server failure. For an operation as big as they claim to be to not have back up systems is inexcusable.
