MetroFax by Metro Hi Speed is one of the cheapest online fax services available. For only $12.95 per fax line, you get 1,000 inbound/outbound pages. Pages over the limit are only $0.03 each. However, there is an activation fee of $9.95 and $2.00 extra per month for a toll free number. MetroFax also has a customizable Corporate plan for higher volume requirements. Along with a convenient online faxing service, MetroFax also provides customers with customer support and troubleshooting.

Whenever we've had and issue, the folks at MetroFax have been responsive and resolved things right away. Our companies have used their services for years.  After all this time we simply expect and consistently receive impeccable service form MetroFax  In the end it always boils down to the people providing the service. MetrFax allows for 1000 fax pages per month, which is huge.  It has a very easy to use interface that I truly believe ANYONE can learn within minutes and they do not charge per minute but per page that is sent, regardless of the time it takes to send. 
Love the 24 x 7 Customer Support.  I haven't had to use it much though I have had a question or two and was able to get through at whatever time it was that I was call
I was happy with the 30 day free service even though it was for the 2nd month after signing up. (Still FREE,  Gotta love that!)
Metrofax has been a good program for my medium sized business and as I see it now, there is no reason for me to change or even shop around for anything else.

I am the Director of IT for our company and I effectively replaced our traditional fax machine functionality with MetroFax after utilizing the reviews I had read regarding them.
The decision has been great, and we have been using between fifty and sixty efax lines through MetroFax for many months now.  The service and support is responsive, and the efax features provided are adequate enough for our needs, even if some other providers offer more.  Best of all, MetroFax was the only real solution that offered an economical price for us as high volume fax users.  As to reliability, few users have reported any problems, and there was only one day where for about half of the day, the service was offline.
I highly recommend MetroFax and suggest you use the computer downloads to give yourself even more power and flexibility with the service.
