We recently switched from a local provider of Business VOIP to Apptix. The customer support for the change over has been terrific, all US based with very smart techs. As a medium sized business, documentation has been important and Apptix is very well organized with full, clear documentation. Their web portal is also very clear and easy to use.
We operate an active commercial real estate brokerage with 25 agents that require excellent phone service and that is what we got with Apptix. We were a bit reluctant at first switching from the phone company but the economy has forced us to try new things to save money. We received a lot more than we bargained for because we made the switch mainly to save money, but we have found that the features that Apptix offers are outstanding and have increased internal and external communications and productivity. If you want to save money and increase productivity consider Apptix.
Customer for over 3 years. When it works, it's great, but you can expect issues several times a year and they can be catastrophic when they occur. Unfortunately, customer service is email only - you get an instant reply that they acknowledge the inquiry, but days go by without a response or solution. My last issue lasted 4 days and by pure luck, I found a disgruntled former customer who had the same problem who posted the fix before leaving them. I have done the same. They are old and tired and there are better solutions out there.
I have this service for 3+ years and I am a believer. Yes, there is an occasional issue that comes up, but no worse than any other option out there. Good price, quality and overall service.
