Editorial Review
Previously known as Junction Networks, OnSIP provides real-time communication services to over 1000,000 customer accounts. OnSIP takes away the high fees, inflexibility, and burden associated with owning a traditional phone system and delivers solutions with businesses in mind. With more than 50+ phone system features, multiple configuration and integration options, and flexible payment options, OnSIP has carved its place in the VoIP industry as a trusted and innovative service provider.
Feature-Rich Phone Systems
OnSIP’s phone systems are packed with a range of features for businesses. These include basic functionalities (such as Auto Attendants, Voicemail-to-email, Groups, Find Me Anywhere, and ACD Queues) as well as advanced call center, collaboration, and admin features (such as Zendesk and Google Analytics Integration, Browser Phone App, and Intuitive Admin Portal). Plus, these features can be customized in real-time to accommodate a business’ changing needs.
Free Trial and Flexible Pricing Solutions
The best thing about OnSIP is that they make it easy for businesses to take advantage of their services through clear, simple, and flexible pricing. They offer two options: a Pay As You Go (Per Minute) Plan and an Unlimited (Per User) Plan. The Pay As You Go option is suitable for businesses that don’t make lots of calls and want to keep their costs low. The Per Seat Metered plan is great for teams with low to medium external calling, while the Per Seat Unlimited plan is best for teams with high phone usage. And if you’re not sure which plan to get, you can take OnSIP on a test drive with its 30-day free trial offer.
seems impossible to get my outgoing call ID correct: the caller ID string that my customers see when i call them is gravely damaging my business. quite often my calls go unanswered because of the flawed caller ID. those customers that actually pick up remark about the weird caller ID and how they almost didn't pick up the phone.

Great for the small office that likes to DIY
alliance-bankcard
Our small business left our analog POTS system for a hosted VoIP when we moved locations primarily to keep our phone numbers. We've never been happier with a phone provider as we are with OnSIP. The boss likes the pay as you go pricing and I like being able to make changes easily using the web interface.
When we first set the system up I had to do some trial and error to get things working just how we wanted, but now if I need to add an employee or change the main greeting I an just get it done instead of having to deal with the old fashion DOS based system we used to have.
Another great bonus is if I know I'm going to be home for the day I can bring my phone home and clients have no idea I'm not at the office when they call.
No 'per seat' pricing. Unlimited users with up to 10 phones per user.
Getting started has a little learning curve.

Satisfied new OnSIP customer
gailberger
I called twice and both times the call was immediately answered by a knowledgeable and very helpful rep. My other SIP provider is unreachable by phone. You have to open a "trouble ticket" and wait days for a reply.
I signed up for the a la carte plan which is free. You only pay under 3 cents per minute for calls. I would prefer a flat-rate unlimited plan, but that is currently not offered. I didn't need all the bells and whistles included in OnSIP's other plans.
So far OnSIP is working out great. I use the service for my transcription business. The sound quality is excellent!
Thanks you OnSIP!
Amazing customer service!
Can get pricey with the per-minute charges.

Great Business VOIP Service!

We switched our business from a POTS line to VOIP about 3 years ago. We love OnSIP!
It has saved us money and is so much more flexible.
They have so many features. The best of them is the ACD Queue!
Reliability has been great. We have only had one outage to speak of in our 3 years of using OnSIP.
Our biggest complaint is there is no way to pick different types of music for the ACD Queues (like we can on the Music-on-Hold feature).

Has Been Great for Us

We're a startup based in Des Moines, IA and OnSIP was recommended to us by another startup. Pricing was attractive, we didn't want to set up our own server and the pre-sales support from OnSIP really helped direct us in the right direction. We've been delighted with the solution in terms of quality and price. The feature set is frankly more than we needed, so we have been able to meet all our business and operational needs. Our staff really like the fact that they can get voicemails sent to them as an email attachment. OnSip is a good solution and we like the people. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.
Customer service during the setup and config stage was responsive, personal and helpful. Suggested phone sets are very high quality (PolyCom IP 335). Admin config options extensive and meets every need we have. Outstanding solution for a startup or mature business.
As with most VOIP, there can be delays or lags and that sometimes make a conversation hard. Some admin options hard to configure based on the UI, but help system usually solves.

Happy small-scale user

I found this an easy way to setup a system with 5 devices in different locations, the web interface is good and service has been very satisfactory.
One thing that onSIP stands out in is assistance with setup ... there were detailed instructions for my devices. I've also found that their setup tries to handle any problems related to NAT translation which is nice.

Junction Networks: Onsip SOHO package was perfect
Laramink
Came to Junction Networks through a general google search, looking to replace Skype with something more official for my small non-profit. Their Onsip SOHO package was perfect. I didn't need a lot of bells and whistles - only a basic greeting and voicemail. I wanted to port a home number to them, which was a bit of an intial expense, but I have since learned that it's just as expensive with any service. I can now take phone calls from home or the cowroking office that I occiasionally use and still look very professional, which was what sold me on voip and Onsip. Their customer support really rocks!
same extension, anywhere! Admin portal can easily used to add or remove extensions.
Number needs to be bought or ported, which can be highly procedural but it all went smooth for me.

Very cost effective and reliable
roblawrence
Great pricing. We used to use another provider which charged us a seemingly nice flat rate for each extension. But, we were unhappy with the reliability. When we shopped around, we were happy to find Onsip which has a pay as you go model. We had polycom phone already so switching to them was easy. They had docs to help us configure the phones straight away.
Six months later, we are very happy with the reliability and the ability to make changes like adding users, whenever we want to. It's very easy to manage and we don't have to wait for them to do things ( our old provider made us fill out a form and fax it in when we wanted to add new users).
Highly recommended for a company with 10 or so people like us.
Thanks Onsip.

Sip Junction

For almost two years with Junction Networks, I have been able to "set it and forget it," while delivering the service quality and price that my colleagues expect.
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">I set up our Hosted PBX for the first time in about 30 minutes, including an auto-attendant and a 1-800 number. Everything was immediately accessible from the web interface. As I continued to work on our phone system, I found the Junction Networks provided the vast majority of all the functionality I needed. On an ongoing basis, whenever we hire somebody, I can perform the necessary actions in about 10 minutes, again all from the web interface. The charge-per-use-not-per-seat policy fits our company well, given that not all employees use the phone the same amount.</div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">The web interface is very object-oriented in the sense that it gives </div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">equal and immediate access to the details of all objects ("Voicemail </div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">boxes," "Extensions," "VOIP addresses," "Users," "DIDs," </div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">Auto-attendants," etc.) This may or may not be confusing for first-time </div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">administrators, but a deeper problem is that it makes common multi-step tasks take longer even for experienced admins.</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"> </div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">Junction has addressed this issue for some tasks, like creating a voicemail box and an extension automatically when you create a user. Still, this doesn't address custom setup procedures and adding multiple users at the same time. I'd like to see a textarea-based approach to this, much like the admin interface of Mailtrust (an email provider).</div>

Junction Network/OnSip
rmaglente
We started using the Junction Network/OnSip VOIP in our Chicago office. We were very happy with the realibility and customer service that we rolled out the system to the rest of our offices less than 3 months after converting.
Everyone that we worked with at Junction Network/OnSip made the transition very easy and seemless.
OnSIP's two pricing plans are tailored to different business needs. With the Per Minute Plan, you only pay for a set of popular phone system features and the calls that you make. If you need to add on additional features, you simply pay for them on an a-la-carte basis. It's perfect for any small business that doesn't make many calls and wants to keep their costs low. With the Unlimited Plan, all of your standard area calls and standard features are covered by a low per person per month price.
The Rub
OnSIP provides your business with a Hosted PBX and variety of scalable models, specific to the type of business you run. The Pay As You Go plan includes a basic set of popular phone system features coupled with paying for calls on a per minute basis. The Unlimited Plan offers unlimited standard area calling + unlimited quantities of the included features all for a low per person per month price. Each service can be customized by a variety of pay-as-you-go calling features, like inbound phone numbers, and additional voicemail inboxes.
Bottom Line
When it comes to Business VoIP, OnSIP has two basic VoIP options: Pay As You Go or The Unlimited Plan. With Pay As You Go, you only pay for the features you need and the calls you make. It's perfect for any small business that doesn't make many calls and wants to keep their costs low. The Unlimited Plan option provides each seat with a voice mailbox, auto attendant, ring group, and much more at an affordable price. Both offer free on-net calling and come with an included number of features; check with each plan to see what you get. OnSIP also has Hosted VoIP and SIP Trunking solutions to help you make the most out of your IP PBX.
Awards
OnSIP wins the 2021 Excellence in Customer Service Award presented by Business Intelligence Group and has won for the past 3 years.
2017 Silver Stevie® Award in the New Product or Service of the Year - Software - Infrastructure or Platform as a Service (IaaS, PaaS) category in The 15th Annual American Business Awards.
2015 Bronze Stevie® Award for the Customer Service Team of the Year - Computer Software category at The American Business Awards Ceremony.
Our Two Cents
For Business VoIP, OnSIP gives you an affordable pricing structure with clear details as to what you're paying for up front. Their customers rave about the outstanding call quality and timely customer service.
This plan is perfect for businesses who use their phones heavily and have high usage. Great for companies in the insurance, tax consulting, auto, staffing, transportation, and financial service industries.
