Axvoice, an Internet phone service provider founded in 2005, offers low-rate, flexible domestic and international calling plans for both residential and business customers. There are no contracts necessary to sign up with Axvoice service, and your money is protected with a 15-day money back guarantee.
Axvoice VoIP service works in your home by connecting your current home phone to the router with an adapter. Axvoice will supply a VoIP phone adapter with service for the cost of shipping ($19.99). Alternately, Axvoice supports Bring Your Own Device, so you can supply your own adapter if you have already purchased one.
Axvoice Residential VoIP Plans
Special promo offer of $6.25/month available now.
Axvoice provides four of the most economical residential calling plans available in VoIP service. The plans are set up to accommodate your specific household's calling needs and range from a Pay as You Go VoIP plan that only charges for what you use to a Blowout Deal plan with unlimited minutes for heavy phone users. Over 30 calling features are included on every plan for every customer at no extra cost. You can also keep your current phone number with Axvoice residential VoIP service.
Axvoice residential plans cover calls to the US and Canada and calls to over 45 international destinations are just 1.5 cents a minute. International plans are available if you make you more than a few out-of-country calls a month. The international plans include domestic calling as well to keep your monthly bill straightforward and clear.
Home Phone Service USA/Canada Plan
The Home Phone Service USA/Canada plan offers unlimited inbound and outbound calling anywhere in the contiguous US and Canada. The plan has three different term-based billing structures. You can choose the Monthly Plan for $14.99 a month with no commitments or you can subscribe for 12 months with the Flexible Yearly Plan and pay $10.99 a month. If you want the most savings, you can opt for the Blowout Deal. The Blowout Deal is $99 for the year, which equals $8.25 a month for unlimited calling to the US and Canada. You pay in full when you sign up for service and the total is closer to $153 with the taxes shown on the sign up form.
Additional Plans
The US/Canada 200 plan is $5.99 a month for 200 minutes of calls to the US and Canada. Additional minutes are billed at 1.5 cents a minute for the US, Canada, and over 45 other countries.
The Pay as You Go VoIP plan is $4.99 a month and includes free incoming calls. Outgoing calls are charged by the minute at 1.5 cents for calls to US, Canada, and over 45 other countries.
The Outgoing Only plan is a great substitute for a pre-paid calling card. Outgoing calls are billed at 1.5 cents a minute for the US, Canada, and over 45 other countries.

Absolutely fantastic customer support at Axvoice
Posted on: May 15, 2013Best voice quality and low rates
Not a single issue
I’ve never had a VOIP service before, so I had a lot of questions before signing up. Axvoice customer service is impeccable. They were so friendly and patient with me. They made sure I understood everything and was completely comfortable with the details of the service before purchasing. So right off the bat, I liked Axvoice. I just want to give a breakdown of how smoothly the entire process was for me.
On DAY ONE, I called to inquire about the service and ask questions. Later that day, I spoke with my husband about it, and he told me to go for it. So I signed up on their website that evening to get started. Within a couple of hours a representative called to confirm the order and told me that I would receive the equipment within a week.
Day Five, I received my phone adapter. I was surprised it came so fast; it came sooner than expected. I hooked the phone adapter up to my modem, and plugged my phone into the adapter. It was extremely easy, my thirteen year old granddaughter helped. It only took me like 60 seconds to do it and I was able to make and receive calls immediately.
DAY SEVEN, I sent AxVoice some paperwork to have my old number transferred over to my service.
DAY 15, my number was transferred over successfully, and I started using my new service with no problems. The call quality is really impressive. I absolutely love it. The whole process was easy, the customer service was great, and the features are wonderful.

My dog could provide better customer service than Axvoice does!
Posted on: May 07, 2013I never had a chance to find out -- they couldn't manage to finish the application process with me
Really bad customer service (at least during the application process).
I tried to sign up for their service but their "billing" department (so said their emails) was so inflexible and rigid about the process, I ultimately gave up trying to complete it. Not only did they fail to read/respond appropriately to emails -- repeatedly requesting information, for example, which I already provided to them -- my issue ultimately came down to their complete inflexibility in regards to a simple phone call. As with many companies, they use a phone call to validate their online client and wish to speak to you personally. However, in attempting to set up this initial call, Axvoice seemed completely inflexible, insisting on a time-table which I found decidedly inconvenient. Moreover, they seemed unable or unwillingness to accommodate an alternative time frame that was convenient for me. I wasn't trying to be a prima donna -- accommodating a customer's time table is perhaps one of the most basic tenets to proper customer service and I did provide them with a generous three hour window from 9am to noon any day of the week for which I was available for this procedure -- but AXvoice was ultimately incapable to accommodate my request.
Now, I understand when the cable or phone companies requires this kind of "window of availability" (i.e. because they are sending out an actual person to your home to whom you need to give access to your property), but c'mon AXvoice -- this kind of service window crap is really annoying when even when it is clearly necessary. We, on the other hand, were merely negotiating a time block for receiving a simple phone call! WTF? Do you really need to be THAT inflexible? Is your billing staff so impotent that they can't simply pick up the phone at ANY time of day? Ultimately, I just became frustrated with the email back and forth and given the wide range of competition in the VOIP industry, I felt this situation likely portended some really poor customer service for which I would have gravely regretted had I had the misfortune of enduring a full year of service with them. I suppose I might thank AxVoice for being such incredible boobs.

I highly recommend these guys.
Posted on: Jan 24, 2013Offering plenty of features and saving my money every month.
I can't find any thing annoying.
I have never written a review before in my life, but I guess there's a first time for everything. I'm recently divorced, and been really down on my luck since my wife left me. She usually handles all the bills and financial stuff around the house. I'm a guys' guy, so I don't know what kind of groceries to buy, or what kind of cable package to order. I'm absolutely clueless when it comes to that stuff. The first year on my own was brutal. I overpaid for everything. After my job cut our wages, I had to learn how to budget my money. To go from $11.50 to $8.25, was devastating. I decided to try making money online, so I kept internet and basic cable. I gave up cell phone services for awhile too; I was paying $87 per month for something I barely even used. I saw an ad for Axvoice, and checked the site out. I thought to myself, "$8.25?! I can do that!" The adapter came within a couple of days, and I was up and running. It was nice talking on a phone that didn't drop my calls or sound like I was inside an empty room. I can't believe how many features I get with my service. I have caller id, voicemail, three-way calling, call forwarding, and a bunch of other features. My home phone does more than my cell phone could ever do. I would need 20 different phone apps alone, to do the things Axvoice does. Now that I'm on my own, I can appreciate the small things, and these guys offer a big difference for a small price. Thanks for the awesome service.

Axvoice Works Very Well For Us
Posted on: Oct 03, 2012inexpensive, reliable, no hassle
We have an office in the US and an office in Canada, and we switched over to Axvoice from another VoIP provider about 7 months ago. With our previous VoIP provider, we were constantly having issues with calls dropping, and also billing issues. I grew pretty sick of dealing with it so I did a bit of research online and decided to give Axvoice a try. I am glad I did, as the last 7 months since switching have been mostly smooth sailing. I also want to emphasize that it was easy to get Axvoice set up quickly in both our US and Canada locations, and the systems at both locations interface well with each other. I'd recommend Axvoice to any company who just wants their phone system to work without spending an arm and a leg, and also wants some business-class features.

HIghly Recommended Service, 5 Stars, No problems
Posted on: Sep 26, 2012Great Service, No Issues, Great Price
We were previously with Vonage and then switched to Axvoice and had signed about three months ago. It was very easy to complete and get the sign up stuff done, also we ported our number from Vonage over to Axvoice and honestly it is better quality at about half the price we were paying or close to it. The customer service is really great. The number port took about 2 weeks from the day our port request was put inand it went smooth. Me and my wife are so glad we switched and very happy with them, saving more money and better quality. We have tried all the top voip services and have switched to get best prices and service and Axvoice is best so far.

All around great service and price, no complaints at all
Posted on: Jul 13, 2012Great Customer Support, Great Features, Good Price, Clear Lines...
Wish ling distance was free too but hey nobody can offer that....
When I had an apartment years ago when I was single I had a dsl line and went from msn to earthlink to finally switching to Comcast cable internet when it became available, at that point I had been seeing several commercials and offers for voip service and how much you could save and being that my internet and phone bills were way over 130+ per month I decided to make the switch and try out axvoice.
I placed my order over the phone and got my equipment super quick and to be honest it was very easy to plug in and use. I called my gf at the time and she could not tell the difference between my phones calls and other landline calls. No robotic sounds or lag in the call at all, I was pretty happy. I later called my family who lives in the islands, which ended up being cheaper than long distance or any phone cards which I have used before, they sounded like they were right next door to me and that was amazing. Two Big Thumbs Up for Axvoice.

Best Features and Choice for the Price. Beats the rest
Posted on: Jul 02, 2012Awesome customer Support. Great Price. Easy Setup.
none
The first thing I liked about axvoice was the features included and no contract needed like many others will do to lock you in forever. Honestly the customer support is second to none. When I called in to get help with correcting a router issue a tech guy got on the phone right away and walked me through the whole thing and got the problem resolved quickly. That help to me meant a lot and was all I needed to become a lifetime customer. Most support will transfer you through three departments, leave you on hold, or take days to fix the simplest problem, they handled it quickly and I was more than happy. I have a complicated setup for my internet in my building and they figured out a solution fast. I highly recommend axvoice just based on customer support alone.

Great company !!
Posted on: Jun 26, 2012high quality calls, easy set up and cheap rates
I can't find any at the moment
I ordered Axvoice after my previous voip company (Sunrocket) closed. For the transition Axvoice offered 3 months free service to sign up. The material arrived very quickly and setup was a child’s play. We chose Axvoice because of their international plan. My wife is from France, so she makes a lot of calls back home. Other providers have something similar, but they are more expansive and somentimes they don't include France. The voice is very clear. The international rates are so high with other providers, I'd be paying 4 times what I pay now. I would definitely recommend this service especially if you make international calls.

Looking for another provider now
Posted on: Jun 12, 2012Easy to sign in, BYOD
No response from customer support
Incorrect billing and overcharge
Not reliable
Two points why I would not recommend them:
Upon sign in they charged me $152.88 by mistake. I supposed to pay $10.99/month, so I requested the explanation by e-mail.
BTW, I didn't find any way to call AXVoice support.
They responded that transaction will be refunded. That happened a year ago and I still didn't get my money back. AXVoice has been charging me for $10.99+taxes and fees for entire year, but $151.88 got lost. For last two months I didn't get any response from them to any of my e-mails...
Second issue: some of phone numbers, that I was dialing too often, stopped working. For example, my company PBX access numbers stopped working one after another. As soon as I was switching from one access number, that started giving me a busy signal after a month of using it, the next one stopped working in a month or so. When I lost an access to the first one, I've sent an e-mail to support: no response at all... Finally I came to the situation that I couldn't call any of my most used numbers and the account became completely useless.

I LOVE Axvoice!!
Posted on: Jun 03, 2012Extremely affordable, clear signal, it sounds just like you are using a traditional land line.
I have found none so far.
I use high-speed internet for some home-based marketing that I am getting off the ground. I needed a reliable service for calls without giving out my cell or regular home number. I found AXVOICE and decided to give it a try and now I am very glad that I did. It is extremely reliable and the calls sound no different from a traditional, wired line service. At first I went with the basic, free service for incoming calls only, but I needed this to be for my new business. I switched it to the home office plan, which was the same price as the residential plan I was looking at. The 200 minutes with this plan is fine for me because I do most of my communication through social networking, text messages, and email. This works for the occasional conference call I need to do. As my business grows and I need to do more with this line, I can get nearly 8 times the minutes for only twice the price. I get all the features I would have gotten with the residential plan, too, including the music-on-hold feature, which gives my business a nice, professional feel. The simultaneous ring is perfect because my wife works a different schedule than I do. With this, my cell vibrates with no ring in my pocket to let me know the land line is ringing and it doesn't disturb her. AXVOICE helps me work my home business with more convenience than I could find with some other carriers and I am very happy about that.
