Customer service acted as though they could care less about the fact that they were taking 3 days pay from me. I spoke to two different reps with the same attitude. Why on earth would anyone want to stay with this company ... Be VERY careful ... vonage does the same thing
Does not work with landline based alarm systems. When calling to see if I could transfer to one of their landlines, their customer service says that I cannot return the equipment, even though it was never used, and they were still going to charge me a termination fee of 120 plug 14.95 port fee... even though I was trying to stay with their company.
I have been a customer for a year now. The digital phone adapter I got was defective - having a normal phone conversation impossible. It took tech support awhile to figure out that their digital adapter was the problem. They were very helpful I must say and offer to replace the equipment.
I have to use my cell phone to complete my calls because my caller constantly experiencing problems hearing me. It was annoyingly coming in and out.
It was very frustrating having to repeat yourself all the times. What could be a 5 minutes conversation ending up being a 30 minutes call because of constantly repeating yourself. This was right from the start. I thought the issue would go away but it did not.
All this was mentioned in my notes with tech support that I have been having the issue for the whole year.
I barely use the service.
The new adapter seems to be okay so far. I asked tech support if there is anything they can do like a courtesy credit for their faulty service. He advised me to speak to customer service. The lady bluntly told me that the fact that I had service - faulty or not they will be no credit. She also said tech support is aware of the issue ( from their note on the system) let them give me a credit.
Their definition of service is once the phone make a connection that service. It does not matter if their adapter is faulty and the quality is so bad that you have to you your cell phone instead.

very expensive phone. ACN will cost 550/year including registration (?) Versus MajicJack 45.00/year. ACN price is ridiculous, because you use your own internet line to make calls, they do not pay any connection. so you pay them for a phone "number" 550.00 /year ???? BUY a Magic Jack instead , same results for less than 10% of the cost. In addition ACN start to charging me supposed call to operators @ 1.99 each plus le list of taxes and fees!!!. They push a contract of 1 year, if you want to cancel you need to pay 60.00 fee. STAY AWAY making millionaire to a few people on the top of this pyramid

It is hard to get through to service and the automatic renewal is the last straw. We were putting up with the poor reliability until the end of the contract, now we may have to pay a penalty to get out. Stay away from ACN.
The features they have fit our needs nicely
Reliability is very bad. Sound is occasionally poor, but that may be the internet connection. They are more expensive than others, and we just discovered a clause ini the contract that automatically renewed for an additional year if we didn't notify them.
I have the ACN Iris 3000 video phone, and have been extremely impressed with how great this phone works. I saved $25.00 a month on my home phone bill, and now I can SEE my family whenever they call. When I had a problem setting up my phone through my cable modem, I called ACN technical support, and they were extremely helpful.
I would highly recommend this service to anyone.

I love the video voip phone. You can leave video messages when they're not home and you can even leave a recorded video greeting. It has all the features you could ever want, besides it getting you a beer from the fridge! I have the new model, the IRIS 3000 and it is super cool! Highly recommended.
This is a horrible company.. It's a joke.. There customer service is a horror.. i canceled my verizon line to go with them, i run a business out of a basement apartment apparently i have no cell phone service.. They stood me up without service for a whole week during labor day week which is one of the busiest time for me.. I have a meat company.. My loss was on the hundreds of dollars.
They told me they were short on techs due to the holiday.. buy yea they charge $40 bucks a month opposed to 29 advertised .
I'm disgusted with this company.. i want to make a you tube video smashing this crappy video phone with a sledge hammer.
