GOT TO BE THEIR WEBPAGE! AND CUSTOMER SERVICE, and that damn annoying video you have to listen to on their home page all the time. Geez Lousie - get a decent, professional home page that is easy to use, no video, and links that work everytime.
not that badAlright I disagree with some of the real harsh reviews. If you pay 20.00 a year for ALL phone servie and FREE long distance (I currently pay over 30.00 per MONTH for basic through Cox, with taxes etc) don't expect the damn moon! However their tech help is hit and miss and when it's a miss it's a diaster. they are talking to more than one customer at a time and suddenly you get directions thatt were meant for someone else. I think it has GREAT potential - but Geez Louise Mr. Inventor - make sure all your staff is trained properly and get rid of that DAMN annoying video of you, and your daughter on the home web page. I amde SEVERAL suggestions to improve webpage - but nothing has been done. Very hard to get help - sometimes the lionks you click work - most of the time they don't, And do we need to listen to that damn annoying video everytime we click on the home page?? - NOT. I have them in my rental places so for me they will work OK. Gret potential I hope it works out because I AM SICK AND TIRED of regular phone companies raping their customers!!

Re: MagicJack
Posted on: Nov 21, 2009- Ease Of Use - Automatic Install - Simple, Very Cheap - Affordable
- A Few Errors Occasionally - Problems w/slow Internet Connections - Only Text Support, No Phone
Magic Jack Stands Up To Competition, But Doesn't SurpassWell, you've heard of the name by now. Almost everyone has that watches a little TV. My wife and I picked up the magic jack a little over 6 months ago now. We've had our fair share of little problems, upgrades that needed to be put in place, but overall, it's worked well for our uses. We have a separate laptop for the magic jack, so it doesn't take over our main computer. Although one think we're disappointed in is the blocking of conference calls. We understand where they're coming from, and why they do it, but it's really a major inconvenience for my wife, and work. Magic jack is absolutely wonderful for the price, but it really does have some bumps and hiccups that need to be adjusted before it becomes top dog. I don't mind the support only being chat, and found them to be pretty helpful. Overall, I'm pretty happy.

none as of yet
magicJackI was really nervous about trying magicJack, with all of the negative reviews I have read, $40.00 is a lot of money for a family of five, but I finally gave in and went to Wal-Mart and bought it today, very easy to use and set up I was up and talking in about 5 minutes, so far no problems, a little bit of static and some echo but the quality is still better then my quest land line. It’s only been 1 day but so far so good, I will post again if any problems arise.

Dropped calls, Phone calls not coming through, static, echo's, horrible customer support, etc.
MagicJack....don't waste your money. Horrible service. My husband and I purchased MagicJack about a year and a half ago. The first month we had it, we didn't have any issues, but after then, it's just been one problem after another. We've gotten dropped calls, calls that won't come through (people get told that the number can't be reached), echo's, static, can't make phone calls etc. We've contacted the technical support (if you can actually call them that) numerous times. I've followed their instructions to supposedly fix our issues to the letter, but nothing has solved the issues we've had. We've ran the MagicFix, upgraded each time there is an upgrade but still the problems persist. They even sent us a new MagicJack device which was supposed to solve the problems we've had, it didn't. In fact it seems worse then the first one, if it's possible. Between all the problems this phone service has given us and the lack of good support, I'd highly recommend NOT wasting your money on a product that isn't worth your money. Stay away from MagicJack, it's just a ripoff.

Reliability, customer service
MagicJackReliability - sucks. Customer service - sucks. I have two phone lines for my business that use MJ. I have had them both replaced because they failed after a period of time. It was not easy (i.e. painful) to get the replacements. Both have now failed AGAIN. I am AGAIN struggling with their very poor customer service to attempt replacements. AGGH!
