Avaya Signs ScanSource to Distribute Avaya Cloud Products in the EU

Under the agreement, ScanSource will now become the first wholesale distributor for Avaya’s cloud solutions in the European Union, providing its reseller partners with cloud solutions based on Avaya’s Powered by IP Office.
Driving Cloud Adoption in the EU
According to the Worldwide Semiannual Public Cloud Services Spending Guide compiled by top market research company International Data Corporation (IDC), even though European companies were much slower to adopt cloud technologies when compared to their counterparts in the U.S., the market is now showing signs of maturity. IDC predicts that the cloud market across Western Europe will rise at a healthy compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 23.2% between 2015 and 2020. Spending in the region is also forecast to hit $24.1 billion this year alone.
Given these figures, it makes sense for Avaya to expand their distribution footprint in the EU via a strategic alliance in order to meet the market’s growing demand for reliable cloud solutions.
