Managed VoIP services is the only way.
Posted on: Mar 27, 2007Outsourcing has become a critical part of our growing business. I'm a techno geek at home with my Tivo and Vonage trial for international fanily calls. However, I will not allow my geekdom to bleed in to my day to day business. I'm an accountant, not a telecom guru. These guys have exceeded my expectations with their service. It's nice to know that I have a local partner that has simplified our growing pains.

Not sure about your experience....
Posted on: Mar 27, 2007...but ours couldn't have been much better. Our previosu service was with Verizon and our T-1 went down regularly. We had swithed to Telovations and we felt like we were taken care of from day 1 til now. We have a lot more features than we've ever had and now have a solid plan for the upcoming hurricane season. I'm not sure about your gripe about the VP visiting you. When was the last time Verizon paid you a visit at all???

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
Posted on: Mar 12, 2007we switched to telovations for our business and the entire experiece has been horrible. Our original acct rep quit and our new one never returns calls. Customer service appears to have one rep who is very helpful but again there is only one rep. we have spent time out of every day for the past 3 weeks trying to get all the glitches worked out and still have not done so. In glitches, i mean everything from billing issues to dialing and rcvng calls. I highly advise that you do not switch to this company. The acct rep will come out with the vice president and make it sound like an excellent thing and once the deal is sold and signed you will not see or hear from that rep again. she told us that she would be out every day when the porting started to answer any questions. well that day came, the phones ported, no training was provided for how the phone system worked. i called her and she never showed up. she just said she would try to "fit us in her schedule". we lost three days of phone calls due to our main number not getting ported correctly. STAY AWAY from this company!!!!

Tech Support
Posted on: Dec 18, 2006Tech Support is very slow to respond. After calling Tech Support, you leave a voice mail & they will get back within an hour. The person who got back to me was not a technical person. 1 1/2 additional hours have gone by & I'm still waiting. A business without phones needs urgent tech support, not within an hour, & certainly not over two hours!
