I had used this service provider 10 years ago with great results. Recently, I needed a new VoIP line so I tried to use them again. I have been greatly disappointed. They still had a great price point and signup was quick and easy... but .. that's it. For the past year I have had my service just stop working either from their proxy servers being down or finding they have not properly processed payment ( my bank confirmed ). Calling or emailing support is a waist of time, you will never get through or get a response. Their payment system is unreliable and if a payment is declined during their outage, they cut your service, it's automated with no grace period. This has now happened twice in one year. I now am trying to close the account but can not since the web site function to delete the account fails, i get a message to contact support... No response.... I have had to resort to having my bank stop charges from them.

Still have a great price point and signup was quick and easy
Proxy servers being down. Calling or emailing support is non responsive. Once signed up , you can't change plans or delete your account, payment system issues.
No

Price not the lowest, but as in all VoIP you definitely get what you pay for. They are my first choice for trunking with the 5 SMB's we service for VoiP

Better call quality than Vitelity. The one time we needed tech support we were handed over to an engineer right away. It turns out the problem was a configuration error on our end, but nevertheless he walked us through the fix.

You get what you pay for... good price but terrible service. As a small business owner I tried to run my small office using Teliax over the last 6 months and it has been a disaster. Their payment system is very problematic causing outages due to the inabliity to process credit card payments.Plus if a payment is declined their is no notification to rectify they just cut you off.
As far as their platform, almost twice a month we go down and I have to swtich proxy servers from different data centers.
If your business either lives or dies by the phone I cannot recommend their service. It might be suitable for a student or retiree who can live with reliability issues.

Price
Service specifically billing issues, reliablity of proxy servers, not business class

My company started using Teliax about three years ago as a possible alternative to the phone lines we had at the time. We were intially not too sure about using a SIP provider instead of hard lines but I had my boss convinced to try it since the price was so much better and Teliax included many features. Since day one service has been rock solid. We've now ported all our lines over to Teliax, including our fax (even though they say FoIP isn't reliable) and have had perfect quality and service. We run an Asterisk PBX and configuring is not for the faint of heart but the Teliax support reps helped us out quite a bit. It depends on who you get though when you call. Some of the Teliax support techs seem to know quite a bit more than others. Also, we recently migrated to their new portal. It's basically a full blown PBX right there in the dashboard. Took some learning to figure out, not for the faint of heart. But *very* sweet once we figured out that we could get the same features from the online dashboard that we are using Asterisk for, and we can get 911 service too finally. Now I need to convince my box that we can get rid of the asterisk box...

Excellent quality (sound, reliability). Knowledgeable support.
Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. You get what you pay for.
Yes

I'm very impressed with the combination of quality and price. The sound quality is better than other providers I've tried.

I run an Asterisk set up and not everyone has both IAX2 and SIP. The quality of the calls is as good as I've tested and they have a plan with unlimited channels. It seems like they have plans that really scale to all sorts of applications. Lot's of choices and it seems pretty flexible. If I have to complain about anything it might be the cost. Teliax isn't the cheapest but when I tried the cheap guys the quality was a real issue. They have different proxies to choose from and that seems to make a real difference.

Good quality calls, helpful support, very stable service, IAX2 and SIP, multiple proxies, they seem to understand asterisk they have a plan with unlimited channels.
Not the cheapest but it's worth it. I have had some bad luck with the cheap guys. As with everything you get what you pay for.

One of my clients selected Teliax as the VOIP provider for his business. Testing went OK but the LNP process was horrible. Calls weren't returned and it took far too long. After cutover, quality isn't there. Looking for a new provider

Setup was good. IAX2 was supported
No servers in Northern CA

We moved from Gafachi to Teliax, and seriously it is a biggggg difference.
Gafachi has no customer service or anything at all.
Don't try Gafachi.
But Teliax? Amazing customer service, technical support, personable, and very good in technical terms, uptime/quality, etc.

Finally, after getting the run around from so many other VoIP providers, I finally found these guys. They have great sound quality (as I understand it they don't wholesale their services to anyone who wants to be a VoIP provider), their customer service is excellent and they're not trying to turn a residential service into a biz service (e.g., they support 4 or MORE concurrent calls, call transfer, etc.) They aren't the cheapest game in town but way less than my telco and worth every penny. Only wish they would increase their softcap (1500 minutes).

I've used them all. These guys actually get it right. Very professional, excellent support, tons of flexibility and options. They delivered what I needed, the way I needed and answered all my questions before *and* after signing up. Highly recommend.
