"Time and again, RingCentral allows us to maintain a winning advantage."

Virtual PBX
Business VoIP

RingCentral offers a complete and scalable business VoIP solution. With RingCentral Office, you can add enough lines for your business and customize the system to suit your business’ needs. Best of all, you can connect your system the day your phones arrive.

RingCentral's Scalable RingCentral Office Plans

RingCentral offers plans with the following prices

  • 1 user: $39.99/month
  • 2-19 users: $29.99/month per user
  • 20-99 users: $21.99/month per user
  • 100+ users: $19.99/month per user

Each of the plans boasts the following features:

  • Unlimited Calling to the US and Canada
  • Unlimited Extensions
  • One toll-free and one direct-dial local number for voice and fax
  • 1000 free toll-free minutes
  • One direct-dial local number per user

With larger plans, you get unlimited extensions for multiple office locations. The toll-free number, dedicated fax line (plus fax to email) will mean your business is always completely and easily accessible.

Additional Perks: Customer Service and Number Porting with RingCentral

You can port your existing business number or create a brand-new vanity number for your business. You also get professional-grade IP phones that are ready to go, out of the box – just plug them in and start calling.

If you need help setting up the system, an account advisor can help you. If you need support later on, customer service and tech support are both available 24/7 (and they're free, too!). RingCentral stands behind their product with a 30-day, risk-free guarantee on their service (this means that you can cancel your service, return your phone - if it's in good working order - and get your money back. All of it.).

RingCentral plans also include interesting features like answering rules, which allows you to set "rules" for how calls will be routed when no one can answer the phone. This could be very useful for holidays, weekends, and after hours.

Other stuff you should know about RingCentral

RingCentral does have a fair use limit on their unlimited calling plans: a 98% excessive use limit. That means that if you use more minutes than 98% of RingCentral customers with unlimited calling plans, you'll be charged the per minute rate for your calls above that threshold. 98% is a pretty high threshold, so you should be okay.

Oh, and one more thing about RingCentral: they've got free smartphone apps, which means you can take your phone system … everywhere. RingCentral has a free iPhone app, and an Android app in the works (presumably, that one will be free as well).

RingCentral: Full Featured System Yet Easy to Use and Support

Posted on: Feb 21, 2012
Pros
• Very good phone system capabilities, with many configurable options
• Virtual fax service included with every office user line
• Sends voice mails to the user’s email account (configurable)
• Great options for high quality phones, especially the Polycom’s
• Excellent customer support – have used it several times
• Easy to understand web-based Administrative Control Panel
Cons
• Wish they would release an upgrade to the Call Controller
• Sometimes need to work with a new router to get it to work well
• Wish they sold headsets too

I’ve been using different RingCentral services for about 2 years now. I’ve personally set up about 30 phones (22 Polycoms and 8 Cisco headsets). The setup is straightforward, and the sound quality of the Polycom and Cisco phones is very good, though I personally prefer the Polycom sound quality.

I've had a few minor configuration questions and whenever I contacted Ring Central Tech Support, they've assisted me in solving the problem. They are a professional organization.

I’ve evaluated many different VoIP phone systems, and have personally used six different hosted systems over the past few years. I like RingCentral the best.

RingCentral: Invaluable for Networked Offices

Posted on: Feb 14, 2012
Pros
Easy to set up, flexible options, increases office mobility
Cons

We've been using Ring Central and Right Fax for a couple of years and have found it invaluable for our networked offices that include commercial spaces and home offices.  The few times I have had issues or questions, I was able to speak with a helpful rep immediately and issue/question was resolved.  I believe I even used a chat option, which was also convenient.

RingCentral: A Big Help

Posted on: Feb 13, 2012
Pros
being able to manage virtual office.
Ability to receive fax via email
Being able to route calls to the appropriate person no matter where they are located
Cons
So far I haven't encountered any.

The phone system has been a big help managing our incoming calls. I work in a small but busy office and receive more than 500 calls a month. A large number of calls can be handled by with automated responses (i.e. what are you office hours?, where are you located?). This system has worked well for handling these calls.  The staff is a mobile staff, being able to forward calls to staff memeber's personal phone without giving out the number is GREAT!!!

I am still learning the full functionality of system. So far I really like.

RingCentral: works great!

Posted on: Feb 09, 2012
Pros
Total money saver compared to what we were paying for a "land" line phone system.
Cons
Early on we had some "crackle" issues with the lines...but customer service seems to have this corrected. All faxes have to be scanned in to be sent.

Overall we love the service!  The savings is just amazing.  The clarity is perfect when making a call.  All calls can be tracked on the website under a call log tab....same as faxes...along with any voicemails that may have been received.  We like the greeting that is played when a call comes in...along with music for a call that is on hold or beiing transferred between extensions.

RingCentral: Customize Features

Posted on: Feb 08, 2012
Pros
Multiple extensions; many features allow you to customize it; sending/receiving faxes really easy either through the online portal or via your own email; really helpful customer service; excellent price; clear messages; notification options
Cons

Our business uses Ring Central since we don't have a central office, but work from different locations.  Ring Central allows us to provide excellent customer service since we can set up the call forwarding to reach us wherever we happen to be.  The features are really helpful such as programming different extensions with different notification options, ring options, forwarding rules, etc.  We also love that you can send and receive faxes directly to/from the 800# or you can set up a free local fax #.

Re: customer service - we had some questions when we were setting up the fax settings and customer service couldn't have been more knowledgeable or courteous.  They answered all our questions.

We would recommend Ring Central to any business!

RingCentral: Highly Recommend

Posted on: Feb 06, 2012
Pros
-Great online knowledge base for questions
-over the phone customer service is excellent
-Very easy to understand RingCentral user interface
-Employees go above and beyond for their customers
-This is a very feature rich VoIP service
-I keep finding new features that makes life a work a whole lot easier
-iPhone app is pretty convenient to have for business on the go
-It's great that voice mails automatically sends an email that you can listen to easily listen to from your computer
Cons
-You have to use one of their recommended routers for the internet or else the quality declines
-They sell Plantronics phones but do not sell headsets. It's a hassle to find compatible headsets because they need adapters and some sites don't make that clear which makes the whole process frustrating.
-VoIP in general (not just RingCentral) isn't the most reliable service because any type of internet problem will cause low quality calls with echoing, breaking up, and dropped calls, but it's a small price to pay for convenience and great service

We've been using RingCentral for a little over a year and love them.  We only had 1 real issue with them.  For a couple weeks we kept having dropped calls and when you're a tech company, it doesn't look so good when we have technical issues during things like sales calls.  We troubleshot for a few days not knowing the source and having to deal with the problem.  RingCentral blamed our internet company and our internet blamed them.  After many phone sessions with RC we found the source, an internet router that wasn't on the recommended list.  Even though it turned out to be a simpler problem than we thought, RC covered all their bases and provided great service.

I manage the whole business's phone accouts from my administrative company settings and love working with customer service when I need assistance and always get great guidance.  I also recently had used the record a call feature for my first time after becoming aware of its existence, and I know all the people on the other side of my call was impressed with the official voice that comes on to know they're being recorded too.

After evaluating different VoIP services and then choosing RingCentral and using it for a year, I would highly recommend their VoIP.

RingCentral: Great Tools to Work With

Posted on: Feb 06, 2012
Pros
Great staff, ease to use software, multi platform.
Cons
None so far!

RingCentral has made growing my small business easy and diverse.

They not only give me a great amount of tools to work with but they also have friendly hard working staff that helped me troubleshoot my setup issues be helping me determine what specific errors I have made.

There sales staff actually was intrested in us and not their pockets, clients before money will make more money obviously.

We will continue to use RIngCentral as they have provided us with a great service with an expceptional price.

RingCentral: Quick Support

Posted on: Feb 06, 2012
Pros
Flexibility to forward calls with the click of your mouse. Better customer service than some competitors whom we also tried. Free fax service and free outbound long distance.
Cons
Some faxes weren't received.

Our company has been with RingCentral for years, there have been very few occasions when the phone system is down - when it's been a network-wide problem they have worked to fix it quickly; if it's just on our system they help us to work the problem out quickly.

Right away when we signed up we were saving lots of money from our previous traditional land-line phone system. We also saved some money instantly by dropping the other electronic Fax companies we had been using to get faxes. RingCentral Fax system isn't perfect, but I remember before signing up with them I had 2 different eFax companies because neither one was reliable enough to go with them individually.

Our first IP phone system was through a competitor for about a month, until we got the first bill! They were charging us for minutes we didn't use, and exorbitant prices on faxes that weren't even coming through! It was all based on how many minutes it was taking the fax to come through, not even on how many pages. We couldn't get rid of them fast enough. We haven't tried all the companies out there, but we are very happy with our RingCentral services.

Sincerely,

Jayhawk Auto Transport Inc

VERY USEFUL SERVICE

Posted on: Feb 06, 2012
Pros
Very Easy to use
Cons
Faxing out is confusing

I've been using this service since June 2011, we've been very happy with the service. Customer service is always very helpful, and most questions can be answered online. Receiving faxes is VERY easy; they are just e-mailed to you. I’ve had some trouble with faxing out, but most people can receive e-mail scan so it’s never been an issue. I would defiantly recommend this service to a friend. I also love the Android Ap!

RingCentral: Fortune 500 atmosphere for pennies!

Posted on: Feb 06, 2012
Pros
Price, Set-up Time, Features
Cons
Customer Service is Overseas, The Support Manuals are not the more user friendly

I have been using this service for a couple months now! I am very pleased with the price, set-up time, and deep features that this service has to offer. There were a few challenges to get over when we were setting up the system, but the customer service reps were very friendly and helpful. The Customer Service is overseas, so please be aware of that. They were still very nice and easy to work with; you just had to politely ask them to repeat themselves several times

All in all, I couldnt go wrong as a small business with this phone system. I can now project a Fortune 500 atmosphere on our phone system for pennies!

-Dan
