The Cisco Unified IP Phone 7945G is a 2-line desktop phone. It is ideal for use in an office with a business VoIP system. The 7945G is better for employees who don’t expect too many calls in the day, as it is a 2-line phone system. Cisco makes similar models with more lines for employees who take more calls.

Unlike some other phones in the 7900 series, the 7945G has a backlit color display. This screen display makes it easy to use and program the included features on the 7945G like voicemail, call waiting, and contact lists.

The Cisco Unified IP Phone 7945G includes a connection for a headset, and many resellers will include a headset with the phone. The phone also includes a speakerphone with echo cancellation.

The 7945G is PoE (Power over Ethernet) ready which makes it easy to install the 7945G if you are using Ethernet in your office. It also includes a 10/100/1000 switch port. And like the other 7900 series phones, the 7945G has an adjustable base that allows for desktop use or wall mounting. If you use the 7945G as a desktop phone, then the adjustable base will allow you to change the angle of the base for your comfort.

The Cisco Unified IP Phone 7945G is hearing aid compatible with easy-to-use volume adjustment. It can also be used in over 30 languages.
