Customer Service, Billing, Account Management, Service, Line Reliability

I have never experienced such poor customer service as I have with iCore. Since signing with them almost 3 years ago, we are in a constant struggle and endless grief. As everyone has said- their contracts are tight, but they are doing themselves a disservice by not allowing the endlessly frustrated customers get out of their contracts without insanely high penalties.
From the beginning we have experienced billing issues.
I have had multiple account managers, none that have any interest in assisting our needs. I don't know if that is because we are a small seat (40) or because other reasons.
We were sold phones that the price seemed like a great deal and investment compared to other competitors, however they sold us a product that was practically obsolete, leaving us with a system that seems impossible to move through the 5 year contract we agreed to. ICore's answer? "well that's what happens." Their smash and grab approach to sales works and gets them the contracts but after that good luck.
I was sold a product that was immediately obsolete in the tech world- with a "console assistant" that doesn't work on any platform than Windows XP (sold to us after Windows 7 was fully integrated in the market). Now in order to get another application like the console assistant, I was told I had to upgrade my entire phone systems or purchase an old school sidecar for reception.
Calls to our system constantly bounce around and are lost.
God forbid there is an outage- iCore does not send out email alerts, rather lets clients sit in the dark and on hold trying to get through to support for some kind of update.
Now as I am trying to make a product work (intercoms at parking locations) on iCore's networks they tell me that SIP Trunks can't be installed on my system and I would need to upgrade EVERYTHING in order to make it work. After accepting defeat (3 months in order for iCore to respond to my endless emails and give me a straight answer) I accepted an install of a copper line (way to go VOIP, useless). I said it was of the utmost importance to get this line installed- a simple 1 copper line installation and it has now taken over a month- I could have had any other company in here 2 days later but iCore of course has drug out this process so much it is painful. I should also note that I have been told 3 separate installation days and NO ONE has showed up nor have I heard from my Account Manager.
Unless you are a large seat account- you will not get any attention- I know 3 other mid size businesses that are fed up with the lack of support.
I could go on, but I know none of this makes a difference to iCore.
If all you want is a phone system that works and is dependable and to work with a company that cares about their clients, iCore is NOT the company to go with.
