I've had nothing but trouble. Slow porting, service when finally established was spotty and service went down numerous time. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! I finally canceled the service and sent the equipment back. They said I'd get a refund (I paid for a year up front) when they got the equipment back. They've had it for 3 weeks, still no credit! They won't answer my calls or respond to my emails.
I have tried other companies and must tell you this one is outstanding. No other voice quality can compare and the features they have along with the price will blow your mind. Customer service reps know me by name and not by my #, I don't know about anyone else but I take that personal. I have recommended them to all my family and friends, and you have time to try them out, so, what have you got to lose, you won't be disappointed.
I've read the reviews for Vonics Digital, and it seems I've joined Vonics Digital at the right time, (May 2006). Their service has been amazing, a real person with is available within the USA. Each of the three people I've worked with in getting my router-based system to work has been patient, knowledgeable and always helpful.
I switched from Vonage to Vonics Digital. Number one reason is the poor customer support I got from Vonage. To date, customer service at Vonics has been VERY GOOD. This is a fairly new technology and I expect some problems. With Vonics, the customer reps are knowledgeable and helpful. They actually help you resolve issues, instead of pushing things off in hopes that you or your problems will go away. That is what I experienced at Vonage more than once. Great price and they actually will follow up on issues for you. So far, Vonics has met all of my expectations.
I recently switched my internet service provider to Verizon FIOS, therefore, I’ve figured that this was the moment to test a VOIP company. I caught a special from Vonics Digital $218.05 for 15 month, so I thought it was now or never. Signing up was easy and the equipment got here within a week. All I did was plug it directly into my existing router supplied by Verizon, and it worked.
After using it a bit and having no problems at all, I signed up to port my existing phone number over. They have given an expected date of completion of 10/10, but it actually moved over on 10/05, ahead of plan! Customer Service is very polite and professional. So, I am EXTREMELY satisfied. The call quality is incredible, and I have had no issues.
I’m having Vonics Digital for almost 2 year now. I am very pleased with their service. I even got my parents to get it, and they haven't had any troubles at all. When I had problems it usually involved my router, or cable provider. I don't understand some of the negative comments. They are most likely folks who don't understand VOIP, or are not Vonics clients.
I was a sun rocket customer, I loved the service until they went belly up. Lately a lot of voip companies are going down, its not a good sign, however I tried VOIP.COM didn’t work out for me, simple features doesn’t work. I tried packet 8 got burned over there. They are superrrrrrrrrrrr expensive. I finally decieded to go back to land line which I did. After a month of service with AT&T, I know I can’t do land lines anymore cost is high and no features. so I decided to give Vonics a shot. The voice quality is good. When ever my cable is working. The only problem with cable is they give you a hugeeeeee download and upload stream is narrow which sometime effects my phone quality while I m downloading huge media files. Spoke to the rep! he gave me this valuable tip to try disconnect all other network appliances, which did and guess what? The quality Improved. I will switch to DSL since the REP told me DSL has decent upload stream.
I will do more research and post my review on dsl vd cable so that everyone can benefit.
No incoming phone service once again!!!!! If you have children- for the love of God- do not get this service it is SO! unreliable that they will NOT be able to contact you! Honestly as someone who has no cell phone I am going back to a regular land line. DO NOT subscribe to this "service" you are throwing your money away.
PROS?! you are throwing your money AWAY. really go elsewhere.
I fell for it after my VOIP got bankrupt. This company feels like a over the garage company. No customer service. Call them on their Sale line. Guess what no one will pick up.
Cause there is no one to pick up. There switches go down often and there is no one at work to reboot the hung servers sometime for over a day !. Review absolutely are not genuine and reliability is accounted is only when service is up.
