I've been using voip.ms for over 10 years. Good price, reliable service, features get added regularly. They have excellent customer support and have always been helpful whenever I had issues. They are my go to provider whenever someone I know has a need for voip service.

Good provider with a lot of features. Redirect, voicemail, SMS, menu, they
have them all.
International pricing is good as well.

I've been with voip.ms for well over 10 years now. We dropped our POTS line
shortly after realizing how reliable the system was. Any issues we've
encountered tech support has been very quick and helpful!

Happy customer of voip.ms for many years and they offer very dependable service and constantly expand with new features and services. Highly recommended!

100% do not recommend.

The nonsense starts the minute you sign up for service as they refuse to port
in a number until you put $15US into your account, even though number porting
is free. They are a Canadian company based out of Quebec so why exactly are
they billing in US dollars?

They lie and mislead you into signing up for their service with cheap prices,
then the BS begins.

First of all they are not an actual Voip company, they are a reseller of
Iristel Inc's service, something they do not mention anywhere on their
website or on their outdated, pathetic Wiki.

On their website they state ports take 5 business days, the industry standard
in Canada is 2 according to the CRTC and the country's other
telecommunications companies. Voip.ms didn't even send the FOC request to
the outgoing company until 3 and half days after I asked them to port the
number, then they tried to say the outgoing company was not replying. I
checked with the outgoing provider and they provided documentation showing
they processed the FOC request the same day it was received. I know this to
be truthful as they sent me a text message to confirm my request the same
day.

I contacted Voip.ms' "customer service" and was treated like an absolute
piece of garbage. They continued to claim they were waiting for the outgoing
provider to respond and when I sent them proof they were lying and asked them
to stop the port they demanded I pay them $50US.

They then all of sudden "received" the FOC 3 days after it was confirmed to
have been sent and when I told them I was going to have the outgoing provider
snap the number back, they competed the port in with a new date 7 days from
today, a full 10 business days after I made the request.

Voip.ms lies and then punishes people who call them out on their lies.

I open a complaint with the CCTS and with my credit card provider. They
pissed off the wrong person and I make sure as many people as possible are
aware of the shady business practices of Voip.ms and Iristel Inc.

Intended to use this app for intercom system and we needed to use an app. Linphone was recommended for iOS by voip.ms support (https://wiki.voip.ms/article/Linphone_iOS) and it was a joke: unreliable and was required to be open to function. We soon ported our number to Buzzly which is better suited to our needs. Voip.ms claimed to not be able to refund our credit because too much time had passed. We opened our account in November 2020. What a joke.

I am not usually writing reviews, but the last reviews I read about this company, almost make me go see others without even trying. First, you won't find anything as cheap as their prices, I am actually asking myself how they're making money. Call quality are really good, nothing to say about it. And service is A1++. I don't know why people are complaining about their technical support. Just click on the chat button on top of the page and there is someone with you within seconds (don't know at night or week thought). Plus, I have rarely seen a support chat with agent that knows the system as much as this... My guess is that they are the programmers... So, Cheap, cheap, cheap, good quality and good service. You don't believe me? I have set up my entire system (digital receptionist, sub accounts (Extension), Voicemails, etc.) in one day for around 5$, try it yourself. The longest part was to find myself a Softphone App that works well. I will save you time if you're looking for an android app : Linphone. It's entirely free and open source. I would give them a chance on any other device (mac,windows,ios) as they have an app for each. Don't thank me, thanks VoIP.ms and Linphone.

Have phone support as support with this company is only done through email or a chat system and you never receive a fix for the issue, they only want to point you to a document that is outdated. Offer features that are requited on all business VOIP systems such as Call Park. When a call comes in you cannot park a call so another phone can pick up the call.

excellent features, great user interface, I had made an error configuring my
device and tech support live chat help me resolve the problem quickly and
professionally. Highly recommend Voip.ms. Been with PhonePower for 10 years
but started to have problems, been waiting almost 2 weeks for resolution
which requires a replacement ATA that I have not received yet. That was my
reason for switching to Voip.ms. = 5 stars!

I'm super happy with VoIP.ms, had have service for 5 years. Though the setup was a bit difficult, once you're all set up, it's really easy to use! Read: works like a normal phone! For example, you need to configure the server address, session refresh time, etc (a few things), which VoIP.ms staff was very helpful with. They have helpful instructions with screenshots to guide you thru all this setup. If you're stuck, just live chat with them. Reliability has been excellent. Never went down, and we have over 20 numbers, 50 people using the system every workday! Also, get $10 account credit here: https://VoIPmsReferral.com For prices I believe they are competitive in the market. Bell would charge like 10 times this much. Enjoy them! Canadian company too!
