I've been a loyal customer of VoIP.ms for several years now.

If I can say anything to someone to convince them, this service should
replace your current 'land line' service, it would be the money I've saved
over the years.

When I switched from Bell land line to VoIP.ms, the support person at Bell
told me that I would be back with their service in short order.

Six years later, I still say "bye bye ma Bell"

VoIP.ms has been rock solid since I joined. The only outages I've experienced
were my own internet service.

The features offered are so numerous, I am impressed with the low cost and
high quality of this service.

Some features are technical, but the support team there are five star with
quick solutions.

My favorite option is 'Proxy Dial'. From my at work phone, I can call my
VoIP.ms number, and with a few buttons pushed, I can place a long distance
call through my VoIP service. My work phone places a 'local call', no long
distance charges. I find this option invaluable for my situation.

Cost savings. Many, many features! Customer support is 5 star. It just works.
Some features offered can be technical to set up (but lots of configuration examples that work!) VoIP.ms web pages can be viewed and interacted with on mobile devices, but some scrolling is needed to read some text.

It has taken me years to find a reliable VOIP provider, one that puts a
priority on low latency as well as supporting features such as Asterisk's
IAX2 protocol. VOIP.MS was the first provider that allowed me to finally get
rid of our landline and not have to worry about severe echo or robotic voice
quality. They sound great.

Alternate routing ensures that if there is ever a problem with my on-premise
voip server, calls will automatically go to my cell phone. This feature has
been tested and used in a real world scenario on several occasions, so I am
confident that one way or another, calls will make it through.

VOIP.MS has an impressive number of data centers. This is likely the reason
my previous experiences with VOIP were less than spectacular. They allow the
customer to choose the best data center through their configuration web page,
and there are even multiple servers in my region now that I can use, although
I have never had a reason to select an alternate.

Porting numbers is easy and is initiated through their website. If you are
looking for a new DID, then they support a wide range of area codes and
prefixes. The DID's are very reasonably priced, and 800 numbers are also
supported.

The price is a fraction of what I was paying the phone company for a
residential landline, and my family loves that we are now able to have a
combination of standard ATA style handsets as well as being able to use soft
phones on our computers.

Reliable VOIP service High call quality/low latency Price is competitive
Possibly challenging to set up advanced configurations for the non technical person

We've been using voip.ms for several years now (+5). Each time I've had an
issue (very rare) or had questions (a lot more often), service has been
fantastic.

The only time we have had quality issues is when our Internet was out - and
this, of course, has nothing whatsoever to do with voip.ms.

Price is unbelievable. Before I changed our service to voip.ms, I was paying
more than $60.00/month with one of the major providers. Since using voip.ms
that same $60.00 covers most, if not all of the year. I have no idea what I
would be paying with that old provider, but I do know that voip.ms has saved
me huge chunks of money over the years. I just wish that there was a voip.ms
for a lot of other services that we need.

Free calling across Canada. That alone is worth the price, but there is also
free calling all across the US. BONUS! A few years ago we went to Costa
Rica on vacation. I had to call there several times and the total cost was
less than $10.00. Imagine: overseas calls for less than $10.00!

As stated above, the only time we have had reliability issues is when our
internet was out, and this had nothing to do with the service provided by
voip.ms.

You can't convince me to switch back to any of the major providers. In fact,
given that we both have cell phones, the only reason we still have a home is
because of voip.ms.

In fact, I have told several people about voip.ms over the years. I don't
know if they believed me, but I've not heard of anyone one of them using the
service.

Cheap, reliable with great features and service.
None that I can think of.

Cheap, no fuss solution to VOIP. It was easy to sign-up and configure the
equipment. The chat line support worked great to help us solve technical
issues. Haven't had any issue with service being down in years. Very
reliable! Recommend.

Lots of documentation on how to setup the service and hardware at home. Cheap and no fuss solution.
The Web Portal is a bit complex and cumbersome. The features are hard to understand. Prices are displayed in USD currency only.

The Skinny

Founded in 2007, VoIP.ms was built by a group of IT and business professionals who believed there was a better way to bring Internet phone services to companies who, like them, had a desire for high-caliber communications solutions.

With offices in Canada, and Mexico, and access points across the globe, VoIP.ms has developed into a truly international business that serves over 80,000 clients, worldwide.

Our Two Cents

It’s no surprise why VoIP.ms is beloved within the community by residential, small businesses and large enterprises. With such flexibility and features being released on a regular basis, they most likely have what you are needing. Additionally, they are a B.Y.O.B (Bring Your Own Device) company. That means that they support the vast majority of devices, applications and servers compatible with VoIP and thus, furthermore providing this feeling of doing what you wish to without being forced into a device or an application.

Whether you are looking for a solution at home, on your mobile or at work, VoIP.ms covers it all, and it’s incredibly affordable!
