Internet Phone is another word for "VoIP" (Voice over Internet Protocol) or "Internet calling". Internet Phone is a great way for people to save money on their monthly phone bill.

VOIP.MS is great!

We've been using Voip for about 10 years now and have saved so much money
over what we would have paid for a 'regular' home phone. There are many
features that we haven't even touched, but the ones we use have always worked
with next to no problems. I think over the 10 years I have maybe had to
contact customer service maybe twice? and both times were answered and solved
within 5 minutes!
So easy to use and set-up, and loved that I could choose my own numbers.
We moved house as well - and it was as easy as unplugging the ATA device and
plugging in at the new house... after waiting for the internet service of
course.
Very happy with the service.
Great, very prompt customer service
Only thing I don't like is being billed in USD. (from a Canadian company)

A years long voip.ms customer sharing his experience

I've been with voip.ms for the last 4 years and I'm extremely happy with what
I get.
I started my "trial" of voip.ms keeping my home phone number and redirecting
voip number to the other one just in case I use it.
After using it a few months I realized it is perfect for people who want to
keep their home phone number but want to get rid of the ridiculously high
price of the landline. In any case most of the landline providers switches to
different sort of voip technologies and sell you packages with the internet
plan. However even with that the pay per use plan of voip.ms is better
financially than anything else especially for people like us who don't use
extensively the phone lines but rather use it additionally to everything else
that exists for free on Internet.
I used most of the features to a different level. I've used DISA - outgoing
calls internationally - the price is competitive to the price of the calling
cards and you have the advantage to be able to use it directly from your
phone (we have a small voip box Obi200 in the one place and a voip phone on
the other one both connected to the same number).
The unlimited subaccounts are great as well as I created different
subaccounts for the members of my family and they use it when they have an
internet connection.
The UI is straight forward (of course you need to understand the
terminology).
As a downside not very often but sometimes it happens to have an interruption
of the service let's say once every few months and the other one is that
sometimes the quality could be not very high even with the premium Canada
routing which is more expensive that the default routing. However I suspect
that quality problems could sometimes be related to the client used as I use
at least 5 different software and hardware clients.
1. Rich on features interface completely customizable voip line.
2. SMS support
3. DISA - outgoing calls with very good rates with configurable restrictions
on the regions/countries
4. Unlimited number of subaccounts that could be configured differently and
can accept calls and make calls
5. Very affordable price especially the pay per use model
6. Call recordings (if you need it)
7. Multiple phone numbers managed through the same account
8. A support for variety of software and hardware clients with a very good
documentation for each of them about how to set it up
1. Some short periods of interruption of the service every few months.
2. Some audio quality problems.

One of the most affordable and reliable Voip services.
Good for residential and business use. Documentation is very well written
and customer support is quick to respond to any issue(on the rare case there
is one).
I have zero complaints.
Lots of features, great pricing, documentation and quick customer service.

The voip service works great in a remote location with satellite internet. It
was easy to set up and got it going with the hardware on the first try. The
prices are really low and it will last a long time before I have to refill my
prepaid minutes.
It is low cost and works really good.

I have been with Voip.ms I think for over 5 years now with two different
lines and have loved their service and price during that time. Any time I ran
into an issue with the service or my adapter the online support was quick and
through and always had the transcript emailed to me for any further
reference. Any time a server was done an email was sent to notify me. So many
options too with voip.ms and they keep adding new ones as they become
available.
Price. Different options. Great tech support
None that actually wouldn't happen with any service.

great support even for single customer

I have voip.ms service for the last 3 years and during that period didn't
have any but positive experience with the service. It is stable, full of
features and support is excellent. Support request response is fast,
professional and followed up until complete customer satisfaction. I did have
an nontraditional question for the support (to trace calls made from my
number outside) and support made everything they could to help me. I would
and did recommend the service to anyone who is interested in the modern
feature rich communication technology delivered to a household level. The
service is on an enterprise level of complexity but can be used by any single
user with an internet service. What not to like?
Reliable service, good rates, many features, keep upgrading with technology
starting configuration is somewhat scary for a person with no experience. It
requires following exact instructions provided by voip.ms and the document is
very specific for a model of telephone adapter you use.

I decided to go with voip.ms many years ago since it was the only one I found
at that time that would port-in a local number from my small provider in a
remote area. I saved a lot of money since the pricing is good and the prices
with the local provider were too high. Since the first day I never had a
problem. I'm using the premium rate and the call quality is always perfect. I
always got good service and quick reply to my questions and never had any
problem to deal with them. There is a lot of functions that allow me to
customize my line to fit my needs and they keep expanding the features. I
would recommand it since it is quite simple, they have documentation for
everything, and it just works as you expect.
Reliable, good pricing, features
call quality on value pricing is not always good enough, better use the
premium rate
