I've been very impressed with Voip.ms. They are constantly rolling out new
features, which I absolutely appreciate. Pricing is also quite good. I would
absolutely recommend to a friend

I have been VOIP.ms for many years.
The price is unbeatable, telephone service is excellent and customer service
is prompt and efficient.

Love voip.ms! I use it for my home phone. We also have two work from home numbers, plus a few others (DISA, hunt groups, etc) I use caller ID filtering and a custom IVR to block pretty much all spam calls, and use time-of-day filtering to keep global contacts from calling my work from home number after hours. The prices are dirt cheap - and after several years of being a customer, I can't remember any outage that has affected me. All running across rural internet. Support is generally excellent, but there is one fellow who is rather harsh to deal with.

Pros price insane amount of features

Cons Generally, be prepared to be a technical user. It's easy to setup if your are technical, but this is NOT a plug-and-play service.

I signed up with voip.ms more than nine years ago after my regular phone
provider increased prices for one too many times. After doing some research
on specialized sites and forums, I opted for voip.ms. The first year was a
little rocky, very little, as there were occasional problems with stability,
but when they announced they were focusing on that, it only got better and I
can’t remember the last time I had any problems with the service. It was
many years ago.

I’ve had to contact support a few times, usually with questions as opposed
to actual problems, and always got a quick answer. Actual problems were
resolved very quickly.

The service has so many features, it’s crazy. I use a tiny fraction of
them. The price is right for my use and I can say I’ve saved thousands of
dollars in phone costs since I signed up.

Lots of good info in their knowledge base can get people with zero VoIP
experience started in minutes.

I highly recommended this company.

Pros Reliable, feature-packed, good support

Cons For Canadians, billing is in U.S. dollars, so the actual cost fluctuates with the Canadian dollar.

Absolutely amazing. Not much else to say about voip.MS. I have use them both for personal use and enterprise. Their support is second to none. I highly encourage anyone still using a landline, or looking for a cheap alternative to make local and international calls to look no further.

With lots of features, configuration that is usable by mortals, and
reasonable rates, VoIP.ms hits a sweet spot. They give me 80% of the power of
my own phone switch for less than 20% of the effort. Problems are infrequent
and generally resolved quickly. Lots of options for rates, call processing,
filtering, devices, etc. No requirement to dive in to any more complexity
than is wanted. After several years with VoIP.ms, I still have no plans to
change.

Pros Device-to-server encryption, SMS/MMS, sub-accounts, and servers located all over the world.

Cons Customized outgoing caller ID often reverts to the default text. Rates are not the lowest to all destinations (but are still competitive in most cases).

Whenever I have a problem with my voip, it's always my gear or the internet connection. Voip.ms writes about problems with their network but it is always news to me. In fact they are always up front about anything that affects their customers. Been with them going on ten years. Will be a lifer with them if they keep this level of service up!

Voip.ms is reliable and inexpensive. The customer support is speedy to reply when it's needed. While the back-end UI is a little complex, it's easy enough to get used to over time. 100% recommended!

As a voip.ms customer for over 10 years. Started using the service for long distance as no other provider had comparable pricing, and then ported in numbers for a small fee. It has been very reliable, and over time it has been even better adding new features, a referral program, and no cost porting in of numbers.

Pros Low cost, reliable service, good support, technical team often adding new features. Free SMS!

Cons MMS messaging is a new feature and there is not yet a reliable app to support the feature.
