Voiceral Communications Reviews

Voiceral Communications no longer has a working website; because of this, we assume it's out of business. Please continue to post reviews about your experiences, though — knowing about old providers will help current customers make better choices.

I've only had Voiceral about a week and I'm very happy with their service. The clarity of phone calls is excellent, equivalent to or better than my previous landline carrier. All my calls are coming through fine, and the voicemail is amazingly clear!
I still can't believe all the features included in the extremely reasonable price.
Customer service is quick and friendly, and I received my adapter within 3 business days.
I'm telling everybody about my new "find" & encouraging
them to give Voiceral a try.
I never thought I could spend so little and get so much! Because of the low cost of Voiceral, even with the monthly fee for my new high-speed connection, I'm saving at least $40 a month.

1) Sound Quality is good, but with noticeable signal delay compared with Sunrocket.
2) Very reliable in both modem hardware and services, much better than Sunrocket.
3) Good responds when you call and email to them, but never get informed about service plan changes from the company. At the time when I signed up, it was free to call China, HK and Taiwan, then changed to limited in landline only. Now it seems free to China and HK again, landline only to Taiwan. In all cases, never have I been informed by the company.

ON MARCH 17TH, THIS WAS POSTED: "David from US says: This is addressed to the individual who made the comment about being charged and not refunded. We have always refunded someone's money when they have requested such. I will personally call you to task to prove that you, or anyone else, has requested a valid refund and were not issued it. I may be reached by calling (518) 618-0000 and you can ask for me directly. My name is David Conboy and I am the CEO of Voiceral Communications. If you feel you have not received the support that made us the number one Internet Provider in 1997 (publicly available records), please call me directly, because your comments could not be further from the truth. I will be more than happy to be sure that you are given the level of support you require. We are not newcomers to the VoIP market place. We have over 60 years of experience in building and running IP networks. Our quality is second to none and I personally meet with every employee and instruct them that customer service is number one - no if's and's or but's. If you have an issue, then I recommend that you call me directly or contact your local Attorney General, as you've stated you did, and call me to task. Thank you for your consideration in this regard."
Due to the fact that I'm posting this on June 3rd, 2006 and that the above posting has NOT been R-E-M-O-V-E-D by voipreview.org gives me all I need to know to go forth and tell EVERYONE AND ANYBODY THAT VOIPREVIEW.ORG IS NOTHING BUT A SHILL SITE FOR SHILLS!
I'M NOT GOING AWAY THOUGH VOIPREVIEW BUT RATHER I'M GONNA KEEP MY EYE FOR FURTHER "davids" SO THAT I CAN KEEP A LOG FOR THE FCC!

The sound quality is great, if you don't mind beeping every few minutes. The features don't always work. Sometimes the phone rings, sometimes it doesn't. The simultaneous ring puts the adapter on a permanent "on" mode if you answer the call from another phone, so you have to reset the adapter. I seem to have constant issues, fixable mind you, but too regular. The customer service is great, but the problems still come up.

I came on this site to get honest customer reviews - the good the band and the ugly.
I often question wether the reviews are always from actual customers so I read with a cautious eye for insider company dialogue.
However, this review page takes the cake for me. I was reading a review from a guy named David on 3/17 about how he talk to a tech. support guy who he named and gave some tech jargon that sounded like a Voiceral commercial. I moved up the page and there is David again 3/17 giving sound quality comments and how he brought the service to CA on a trip with him again a bit staged. But then the kicker is up the page a bit another comment from David on 3/17 answering to the comments of a disgruntled customer by stating that he (David) is the CEO of Voiceral. Come on David as the CEO of a company don't you have more important work in your day than to mislead consumers on a review site. Our atleast be smart enough to use a fake name or how about this novel idea always state that you are the CEO so we can decide for ourselves the veracity of your comments. Have some marketplace ethics and let your product do the talking. I have no affliation with this industry and I am truly interested in switching to VOIP but no longer with Voiceral.

I have never had such excellent service ever. This company is 1 to their word. They told me that they would send my adapter in three to five days, and it was here, unlike another company, Vonage, in which it took them three weeks. The customer service/technical support group/man was just phenomenal. He got back to me quickly and solved all of my issues. I would reccommend this company for anyone. They are superb!

This is my 4th VOIP company, and I have to say Voiceral is outstanding. Clear calls, easy to use features and fast shipping, not to mention the best price out there! I almost gave up on VOIP until I found Voiceral. Price and Quality were big concerns for me, and Voiceral meets both with an A+

With 25 years computer experience and three networked computers, I feel qualified to speak on customer service. Most often, when you call about software or components, you get someone who can hardly speak English, or it's a kid reading from a script. Trust me; when you call Voiceral, you'll talk with a guy who speaks English and knows his stuff. Even a newbie should have no trouble following the setup instructions.

The Voiceral Support dept went above and beyond to help me figure out my issue that turned out to be a bad cable modem. They called and followed up with me almost daily until the cable company came on saite and replaced my cable modem, and now everything is 100% perfect with voiceral. Better quality than my cell phone, no echo, and all these features make my head spin. They even gave me a free month for getting my cousin to sign up with them.

Found this company thanks to voipreview.org, and decided to try it out with their 30 day money back guarantee. Everything worked great, and it's really only 14.99 (which i thought had to be a misprint) but after 3 months now it's the truth. Great service, great quality, great price.
